Make Candles With Me & MY NEW WAX MELTER: ToAuto Wax Melter Review!

Make candles with me and my new ToAuto wax melter! I have got so many large custom orders + markets coming up and scents I need to launch, which means I've got a LOT of candles to make! ToAuto sent me their brand new wax melter they just released and I couldn't wait to unbox and use it with you guys. This little work horse heats up your wax pretty fast so you don't have to sit around for long waiting on it. Not to mention it's the first melter I've used with a SUPER ACCURATE temperature gage! Generally I will be using this for making wax melts but today we're gonna test it out making some candles.

Try using a silicone mat to cover your work space. Much easier to clean😉

Why do you use 2 wicks in your 6.5 tins? Can I ask what size you use because in my opinion that size is so small to double wick.

I use 2 Htp 83’s. 6006 is really hard to single wick and is nearly impossible when you have a vessel that’s more than 3in wide. I tried numerous wick sizes and wick types and none of them performed well (to my standards) with just one wick. If they happened to be big enough to reach a full melt pool (very few did) they sooted like crazy. It’s just what worked for me after 8+ months of testing! 😄

Ehh I mean so so... They're not something I really focus on or really advertise very much. They're kinda just there for those that don't have one but would prefer wax melts to candles. haha!

Unless you mean the wax melts themselves? Those sell constantly and are very profitable. But the warmers I mean yes we do make a profit but we don't sell a ton of them. They're just kinda there for people who want eed one. Haha

Yeah my presto pots get a little crazy!!! 😭🤣 I set it to “warm” and it could either still be solid or as hot as the sun, you never know. 🤣🤣🤣

@the1994candleco my presto pot is possessed 🤣 I’ve tried to get a good gauge on temp depending on how much wax is in the pot , it does what it wants 🤣 so I am now the proud babysitter of my presto pot on top of 40 million other things 🤣🤣

Hahaha!!! Mine definitely does what it wants. I could set it at EXACTLY the same spot and sometimes it’ll heat to 258 degrees and other times it’s like 132. 😒🤣🤣
