This might be the best music theory/production video I've seen on youtube. How the complexity of the progression is scaling through the video is amazing, really easy to learn even for begginers with only the basic concepts of music theory just like me. Also the final product sounds so professional that it gave me a lot of motivation to continue this music production journey I've started at 24, just when I thought I was maybe too old to start... Thanks Jaron

Best KZbin video I’ve ever seen on production. Absolutely grateful man!❤
@maru52592 жыл бұрын
My favourite thing about these videos is that you actually explained the upper extensions and the theory behind them with the modes. It's such a breath of fresh air from the "chord code" "place a note, go up by 2, 3, 1 *whatever*". Like if you don't wanna learn theory and just want the sound then go off King, I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying that learning theory gives you an appreciation for jt and a deeper level of understanding helps every instrument sound homogeneous cuz they all feed off the same material. This is probably the most informative tutorial I've seen, I feel like it helps view music with the lens of a "real musician" as supposed to "someone who makes music". Amazing video, pls keep teaching like this
@bird51192 жыл бұрын
I love how you explained all this in such a sequential order, just taking the time to layer more and more techniques. This was very insightful, thank you for such a high quality video!
@oldensad55418 ай бұрын
Oh my god! So many possibilities to monotonous genres, like techno and drone... I never thought about something like this coz, you know all this theory for instrumental nerds and stuff, and i can do boom-boom and woozch- woozch on my own😂 I'm so embarrassed and happy at the same time!

Never really comment, but I have been looking for a music theory video like this. Not too simple where you're teaching me stuff like "three notes make a chord", "c major", and all that stuff, but not too advanced where you assume I know all the chord names and shiz. Also it's on stuff that actually sounds cool! Keep up the good work man!
