Hi everyone! My apologies for the noise in this video. We have a lot of construction on my street right now and at times you can hear the sound of the beeping trucks.

❤ grouping scent family to pour is really clever! And you're right that silicone really grabs onto scent and won't let it go!

Thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I appreciate them so much. You are just so sweet and kind. Omg - I’m so glad your melting unit did not catch on fire. Sorry about the loss of your wax though.

So sweet! Finally joined the Patreon - great work. And always appreciate your honesty. I still do the old fashion boiling method but maybe i'll step up one of these days

Glad to have you! You’ve got this. Take it at your own speed though :)

oh wow. You are lucky it didn't catch fire. You could make firestarters with that old wax maybe?(Everyone goes camping in summer) Even though, I would have been sorta livid at the premium wax loss.

Ha ha ha! That’s a good idea actually. Already tossed it (this incident happened last fall) but very lucky it didn’t burn the kitchen down 😅

Haha!! Yup, that’s one downfall of this wax for sure.

Yes, I’ve heard of Keg Digiboil. Also, I was in a Facebook group and someone said Coconut Apricot wax takes too long to cure and doesn’t give a good CT/HT.
@earthglow6 ай бұрын
Yah, someone will have something to say about just about every wax you use. I have not found this to be the case in my experience.

These kinds of videos make me feel so cozy and calm. Thank you for the effort you put into these! Since watching you videos I've gotten into body oil making and I've watched all of your fragrance oil reviews. Have you ever tried Vinevida or Voyageur? Their prices are good and I love the fragrance descriptions but I trust you nose and want to know if I should invest in them🤔

This comment makes me so happy! I haven’t tried these companies yet but have heard great things about them.

Can you share the brown boxes you use for your evermore vessels? Thank you !

Hi!! These actually just came with the vessels. I ordered them from 16/17 back when they were in business.

those candle containers are really pretty. the wax smoking is pretty scary... at least you could carry it outside...
@earthglow6 ай бұрын
Yup, I agree. Glad the place didn’t catch on fire from that!

Sweet that is VERY dangerous to handle that at that temperature. I did something similar with a very small pot and moved it outside. As soon as the wind blew FRESH oxygen into the pot ...FIRE 🔥! I ended up needing a skin graft on my dominant hand and 9 days in burn ICU. COVER EVERY part of your body before moving a pot that hot and definitely don't do it alone. Best you can do is unplug and leave it closed.

I love your videos!!! Question for coco apricot have you ever warmed it up to 200 or more? I’m hearing so many different temps.
@earthglow6 ай бұрын
Yes, I have. You can absolutely do this as well. I just follow the instructions from the manufacturer.
@lizamackey76612 ай бұрын
@@earthglow Well this video made me feel a little better seeing your temperatures-I am using the ToAuto melter and it only goes up to 212 max-by the time I get my coco apricot wax into my pitcher and stir my fragrance in, its about 185....I was thinking this would be way too low because I was used to doing 220 or so on my hot plate when I first started....I am kind of freaking out that the 185 isn't hot enough, but it seems like you're pouring about the same temps as what I am getting-any issues with hot throw, or it works well for you obviously! lol....I was on the fence about tossing the ToAuto melter and trying a Digiboil solely for this reason....not sure if I should keep going and just see how testing goes.

A direct wax Melter is a must have for consistent heating and productions. I have (2) 100# dual heat melter's I'm selling. I'm glad everything was ok for you.
@georgianasalter6 ай бұрын
Phawnl5000 what are those melters and edgar will you be asking?
@phawnl50006 ай бұрын
@@georgianasalter they are 100 pound direct, dual heater melting tanks designed for wax melting . With an email I can sent you a picture. I have two (2) available @ $500.00ea . These are a better option than a digboil, which were never designed for hot melting wax. Not to mention they are a work horse for anyone needing to be more efficient in their candle production .
@janettepilkington78325 ай бұрын
So not knowing anything about candle making, if you can’t use the digiboil to melt your wax what do you use
@earthglow5 ай бұрын
I do use a Digiboil! But you can honestly use a presto pot or a double boiler method if you are just starting out!
