Tip for others: when testing the scenario run after making changes (adding modules like the Create a Folder in Google Drive), you may not always see each step complete -- just the form submission. If that's happening, change the 'Choose where to start' settings to a specific date that's prior to when you started building. Or, just submit a new form if you want to stick with 'Choose manually'. Basically what's happening is the older form submission from 'Choose manually' isn't getting recognized. P.S. This is a FANTASTIC beginners tutorial. Thank you, we're sharing it with our team!

Thanks for this detailed tutorial. But got stuck in between. I just followed along. When I right click on google form and choose where to start as manually, I could see the new record created. Then I clicked on it and said ok. Now I could see the bubble. But when I clicked on it, I could not see any records. Operation1 with a dropdown symbol has no records. Where am I going wrong??

Hello everyone, I'm having a lot of trouble despite the tutorials, but first of all, thank you so much for spending the time to explain all this, really! I'd like to start with something very basic: replying to an email to the sender + cc people, automatically by filtering with a keyword in the subject line. The scenario works fine after the test, but the return email that's supposed to go out automatically is neither sent to the “sender” nor to the “cc” people. Note that I don't know the e-mail addresses of the people in cc and they change each time. I'm on Outlook. If anyone has any ideas ... thank you very much!

Hit a road block when attempting to connect google drive to the form submission trigger as I didn't have a company email to use as the "connection" I only have personal Gmail accounts. I was able to work through the process of creating an OAuth client for my account but it seems like a ton of extra work for a simple connection. If a Client is using a "personal" Gmail account to manage business operations, will I need to set up a custom OAuth client every time I want to link their Google drive to an initial trigger like a form getting a new submission? thanks.

Definitely a ton of extra work. I've only worked with clients who use a google workspace, its more than likely this will be the case for any legitimate business. I've worked with more than a dozen and none of them had personal gmails

Thank you! Yeah this was just an example. Some real use cases for this are companies who have “Work With Us” forms on their website, where prospective clients fill out a form to try and work together. There could also be similar forms filled out for lead magnets, and this is how you would take that data and send the lead magnet for example. Lots of other use cases. Let me know if any of that is confusing haha

What’s the point of a webhook as opposed to just using the Google Form trigger?

Webhooks act as instant triggers. This means the data comes immediately. Contrary to scheduled triggers, which periodically ask a given service for new data to be processed, thus using more operations and costing the client/yourself more money. That’s how Make charges, based on operations

Once you got to adding a module: Google Drive, completely blocked. Need to create Cloud account, credentials, authorizations, enable API's (of which Make nor Integromat are found). You are using a non-Gmail email account so this didn't happen to you, but I suspect a lot of folks here are. Has this been addressed?
