I have a couple of questions if you could answer please: 1- When working with the email module, the content type option does not appear to? 2- When I get the test email, there are no spaces between the paragraphs, it is just one big block words, which is not grammatically correct and also not easy to read, any one knows why is this happening? I am using the free version to test Make, wondering if this is the reason.

Hi Kevin, Thanks for the sharing. I got to say at first I was questioning why would you connect Google Form with Google Sheet when in general, you can pull Google Form information to Google Sheet. With that, I'm wondering: 1. Can I just start the module with Google Sheet without Google Form? 2. How can I add multiple filter in between 2 modules?

Your demos really are first class. I often have to do demos for new features/systems at work, they are never this good! I really like the 'operations' cost model of Make, definitely preferable to Zapier's subscription model. Not sure I like the scheduling only trigger method, would prefer 'on event' triggering like in Microsoft's PowerAutomate, but I did see Webhook and HTTP triggers there so maybe this is possible. Great video, really interesting and expertly produced.

Just discovered you, MIND BLOWING!!!!! Excellent tutorial, thank you, and exactly what I've been looking for! Of course I have a lot of questions, one primary one being how are the number of automations calculated - for example, if the automation runs once, and (in this example) collects & runs the script on 10 orders, is that calculated as one automation, or ten? I'm sure I'll figure this out, but that information would have been nice to know from the demo. Thank you again, subscribed, I can see I'm going to be a big fan of your channel, no wonder you have a gazillion subs! 😄

Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing. A few questions, I'm getting into MAKE for the first tima. For this diagram, can you, at the end when the team receives the message, add an extra step so they can complete inside the Google sheet the confirmation that the order was produced and sent? Can you create an order ID into the Google sheet as well? (so it is easy to track in the future. Thxs again!
Nice tutorial! Let's say you get an order and fill out your sheet automatically. 2 days later the customer changes their mind and cancels the order. Can you automatically remove that line from excel? if so, will every row in the excel move up? maybe a better scenario is when a meeting is booked for next week and then 2 days later the person either reschedules or cancels. How to get the excel sheet updated with this info?

Hi great tutorial, can I use my scenario as an API for a custom front-end application
@santiagodevotech74 күн бұрын
This video was really helpful. I only had a problem understanding the "Why" of connecting a Google Forms module with a Google Sheets module since it seems that Google Forms automatically creates a related Spreadsheet for my forms and automtically fills a new row after I send a form response. So when I was running the Make scenario with Forms and Sheets modules connected it shown me the form response duplicated as two bundles in the Google Sheets module (Input and Output, but the same data from the same form I just sent). I guess I didn't need to establish that connection and it was enough with Google Forms alone since the Sheets part was automatically being done. Am I right? Thanks for the good guide through this awesome tool!

Simple and sweet tutorial, as always... btw, your International Customers are going to be disappointed because you are going to fail in delivery despite giving them a promise! :) You should've picked the "email" field from Google Sheets which has your confirmed orders and not from the input source, Google Forms since you will filtering out of country orders! refer: 17:00 - 17:11

Thank you so much for this Kevin. Your videos are excellent. I do have a question though. It seemed like the information from Google forms was carried through so that you could use it in the Email module. So why not just add the Teams to the end, and use the information from Google Sheets. In other words, what does the Router add that you couldn't have already done without it?

Hey thanks for the great demonstration. I have a question in my mind while watching the video. Let's say I set up the automation interval for 15 minutes. So, when a new form submission will encounter, is that going to send a thank you mail to all the customers again? If not then, will that deduct my 1000 free credit even I have no order for a day as i set it to run in every 15 minutes.

Why did you choose to automate Google Forms with Google Sheets using 'Make' when there's an option to fetch data from Google Forms directly into Google Sheets? Wouldn't there be a better example?

Yeah, I am a little confused as to whether you already had the form connected to the same sheet via Google forms before connecting it via Make? Also, when leads complete the form, will I still get the analytics under the "Responses" tab on Google forms? Also, if I have the Google sheet connected to the Sheet via both Make and Google forms, will I get duplicate responses?
@brickflows3 ай бұрын
@@zodn921 no Google forms can already send data straight to any sheet in your account. What he did was first get Google sheet then he used make to connect forms and sheet. I don't know if you'll get a duplicate response you just need to try it out and see ;)

This has been one of the best and easiest videos to follow! I do keep hitting an error on the email step… when I add my draft template and then try to connect data to it from the form, my interface begins to act slow and not allow me to type in the email area. Also, once I hit okay and close that email and open it my draft email is gone and the linked data is there but when the email sends, it’s blank with no content within it. I’m sure this comment might be hard to understand without a visual but if you have some advice to help me get unstuck, I’d love it!
