You could be lacking minerals try looking to get some good calcium, magnesium and vitamin D supplements search how to rebuild enamel on KZbin
@HoneeyBee3
@HoneeyBee3 3 жыл бұрын
Yep to what the person above me said!! Vitamin D can impact tooth health as well as low calcium (which if you eat a lot of dairy, it can actually negate calcium absorption). K2 takes calcium out of bodily tissue and puts it into bones and teeth. So low vitamin k2 can cause this issue as well. You can get that from more leafy greens. I wouldn't reccomend supplementing because it can throw off vitamin ratios and sometimes causes people to have chest pains. Also recurring acid reflux can erode and damage teeth! And apparently lots of phytic acid is just as bad on the teeth as sugar if you dont brush or practice oral care after eating things with phytic acid in them...like nuts, seeds, grains, and beans! Also mouth breathing can cause bacteria to grow that encourages tooth decay! Another one that people overlook, chewing gum! I was a heavy gum chewer well into my mid to late 20s and while it kept my jaw defined, it started working on my tooth enamel and encouraged some caries to form and the need for 1 filling. If you're a gum chewer go for Ice breakers xylitol gum.

My friend talked to one of the top dentists in Europe after he retired. He told her fluoride is only good for teeth in the minuscule amounts found in natural ground water, and large amounts of it cause the teeth to become brittle. He said a chipped tooth costs more to fix than a cavity, which is why dentists recommend it. But none of the European countries allow fluoride in their water supply. (Europe is the playground of the rich).

Try buying a mouth guard or ask your dentist about this. I notice I do this a lot and I clench my jaw over night, then in the morning my jaw hurts and my teeth ache. I wear my retainer a lot more now and my teeth clenching symptoms have gone away now. Prolonged bruxism and teeth clenching can lead to TMJ problems and tooth damage. I hope this helped you and I wish you all the best…

Milk has lots of calcium in it, so yes it is good for remineralising the teeth. However, milk contains sugar and fat, when you do drink milk rinse your mouth out with water so that the sugar washes away. Eating lots of high calcium foods will benefit your teeth and bones. However, do not consume to much calcium otherwise you body won’t take in any of the calcium and will excrete it into the urine.
@Growndweller
@Growndweller 2 жыл бұрын
Please don't make claims unless you've done your research first. Milk sugar does not attack teeth. Scientists have found the film on teeth attracts calcium and phosphate ions out of the milk thereby maintaining a more neutral pH. These ions then rebuild the tooth enamel unless the film is brushed away.

@@sherpaderpa1 .. which explains the high incidence of dental and skeletal fluorosis in areas with fluoridated water and why several countries have banned adding fluoride to their water supplies. These include Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, Hungary and more. Fluoride should be used sparingly and definitely not ingested. According to the British Medical Journal (KK Cheng et al), since 1965 rates of cavities have declined by similar amounts in countries with and without fluoridation. And the evidence suggests that this is mostly due to better oral health education (including topical fluoride use) and improved diet and nutrition.

Yeah, do none of this. Do this instead: 1. Remove ALL sugar from your diet. And I do mean all of it. If the food has carbs, get rid of it. 2. Stop smoking and drinking alcohol. Forever. 3. Never chew gum. Ever. 4. Use waterpik right after EVERY meal. If you're at work and don't have waterpik, floss and rinse VERY thoroughly. 5. When you use floss use it not only to get rid of food debris between your teeth, but actually slide it alongside the whole surface of the side of the tooth to remove plaque. 6. Do not put anything in your mouth that has ph less than 5.5.
