That’s good that little thing , ideal for my hands if my fingers lock or bend , and really simple to do , very quick if you’re really hungry , and it’s not as good as Keith’s omelette he makes you , but it’s still looked lovely

Hi Maureen it's a good little gadget no fiddly little latches and it doesn't get scolding hot either the omelette just slides out when there done it felt safe to use like u said when u have bad fingers and hands u want to feel confident using the product I agree there not as good as Keith's and it didn't taste to bad 🙂

The omelettes turned out nice, although I'm not keen on the microwave gadgets. There's someone called Fanny Cradock from years ago. Some vids on here. She put mincemeat in an omelette and it was all raw in the middle. Made me feel sick. She's hilarious to watch though.

Great review and looks ok if you don't/can't cook but, once the preps done, you could have that omelette cooked in half the time in't pan with less faffing. But, it does use less energy than a leckie hob. One question tho', do you leave it open until the end, or close it after the first blast in't microdiddle?.

@@natssupermarketproductreviews No probs, mate. Just reading one of those Vine customer free product reviews on Amazon. They gave it one minute open, added the filling and then closed it for the last blast in't micro. Maybe worth trying that way? They also said there was no instructions but had one before, and gave it 5*'s. Having said what I did, you rate it so I'm gonna chuck a fiver at one. At least it'll be easier to wash up than a pan👍

If you poach eggs in that, add some water, or poke the yolk with a skewer -- otherwise they tend to explode.

Cool. I've had to clean egg off the inside of my microwave before (not so hard if you microwave a cup of vinegar and water first). I'm a fool for kitchen gadgets and repurposed "kitchen" tools. I usually poach my eggs in a Pyrex 1 cup measure, but I used to have a plastic two-well microwave poacher, and when I feel like using the stovetop, a skillet half full of water with canning jar rings gets the job done (just the rings, not the removable lids). You can poach half a dozen that way if your skillet is big enough. ☺
