"Don't run away...well, perhaps run away...to your trashcan!" - Words of wisdom from a true junk journal guru!! Luise, have you considered creating a chain of snippets (using eyelets and jump rings) to make a journal "belt" to keep the journal closed? Also, may I suggest using some candle wax on the bottom of the mini "schrank" drawer glides to eliminate the squeaking. Candle wax also works on wood drawer glides (your large "schrank") to prevent them from sticking or binding. 😊

Additionally I wanted to add I use my ideology’s package card boards to make tags pockets etc. I cut them an distress to the need size and use the clear for packing up bits or making windows in tags or books. 😮

So sorry. I shared a link then thought I better not. Came back to delete it and it’s not there. I saw a video on how to make paper look burnt. You wet the edges with a 1 to 1 ratio of lemon juice and water then heat it with a heat gun. The longer you heat it the darker it gets. Look like something you could do wonders with.
