I would like to see how you store your ink daubers and how you make your own (I've tried and I get an octagon type shape 🙄 not good for inking. Maybe I'm using a sponge that's to thick) and what type of glue you use to glue them on. Also, how to line up my crop-a-dile to get my holes straight...I've ruined a spine already and could have sworn I had everything lined up. And practicing on scraps isn't helping. What am I doing wrong!? 🤔 Have a great day.🙂

As someone who finds herself makin' sound effects and talkin' in crazy accents & dialects, absentmindedly, while playing in the craft room, I appreciate the unedited silliness of each moment your videos bring. You're every inspiring and empowering, which is refreshing, to say the least. There's nothing I dislike more, than some of the condescending overtones of some craft tutorials out there. This is important, in my little world, as I find myself trying to inspire & encourage those around me. 💙 It's still quite early here on this cold, Saturday mornin' in the west Texas oilfield but I definitely know what I'm going to play around with, later today! Thank you, for being unique & not conforming to the pressures of being Ms. Perfect, tidy crafter. We all know, that's certainly not realistic.

hear hear! I agree, I have unsubscribed from many people to be unnamed because of the "i am a better crafter than you" or "my work is so much prettier than yours" kind of attitude. A true crafter loads up to KZbin to share their passion, not to gain favour from the world or to fulfil some narcissistic ego need, though a little appreciation goes a long way. If you like the ideas and the crafter's style/personaliy then show it, it costs you nothing? If you don't like it then don't watch it. I not only like Pam and her ideas but I like the people who take the time to watch and show their appreciation. It's an opportunity to share with folks across the world and to lift each other at this time of gloom. Here we can immerse ourselves, for a little while, in a different world, shut out reality and soothe our senses before we take up the baton and head out to fight adversity once more. God bless all the people who make this possible.

I've done similar covers. I coffee dyed the bag first and used acrylic paint instead of the ink pads. Used junk mail card stock, and coffee dyed printer paper. Coated the cover in mod podge to make it waterproof. I have to work on a dollar tree budget, so I collect junk mail, cereal boxes, fast food bags, etc. to use for covers. I love creating things out of what others consider 'trash'.

I used to make this all the time in my craft business. When I crinkle it I spray the bag with water first to dampen. The wrinkles are much smaller. More like an alligator skin. I then ironed it. I might do that a second time. Never used conditioner but that is something I will try. I left it plain and used modpoge and last used an antiquing glazeover the top. Back when I learned in 1990's we were not using our stamping inks for much more than stamps. 🤣 I am thinking a permanent ink if you stamped the paper first might be interesting to try. sort of like a brand on the leather.1 You have got me thinking!

@@giovannacasadio9600 I love some of the smells too, my favourite at the moment is gold orchid! I use the little pellet type ones, (the ones that go directly into the drum with the washing), as wardrobe fresheners, just put some in a draw string bag and hang them up amongst the clothes or pop them in trainers haha!

I first ran across the wrinkled paper bag craft for making faux marble floors and countertops. This is a rather interesting offshoot of that, frankly. I may even try this with some slightly dyed paper bag material to come up with dark blues, reds, and greens. The ideas are almost endless, really!

tearing around the house, looking for the spray bottle, then the conditioner (which leaked water all over the floor), and you know what? I love the result and my husband as usual thinks I'm nuts.

I did this 5 years ago on my fridge/freezer in my vintage RV. It looked like a huge leather book . It took 5 brown bags, brown stain & modgepodge topped with a clear varnish for easy cleaning.

Whenever i hear you go off course "lets have a little simplicity here." i laugh. Reminds me of my childhood friend who is an adult with that type of humer. She told my dinner guest on her departure that she would be back even if i were entertaining a monkey. 😅😂😂

I was wondering about card stock, but wondered if it was too thick. Thin stuff would crinkle okish.
@LP-hl3px3 жыл бұрын
@@Elizabeth-rq1vi.. It has been so long since I did the cardstock with the glycerin method but I believe I used 65lb paper and it worked well. Some I embossed with embossing folders and some I crinkled up. I also mod podged most of them when dry. Hope this helps.

Squeezer-bejeeber, super scrunch with a smutch of conditioner w. water or mod podge! - that's how you make suede or leather, out of a brown paper bag, Pam style!! Love it! ♡♡ Thank you Pam - love from Denmark ❄🥶💕
