I'm not sure I understand the question. There is one point where groundwater is discharging, a spring? Try the drain package as a point? Good luck!

Hi Alexandra, what was the reason for subtracting the groundwater level from the land surface elevation for each phase? was it to determine the hydraulic head? Also, what is the purpose of adding the DEM file to the map?

The DEM is needed for land surface elevations when they have not been measured in the field or are otherwise not available. Yes, the reason to subtract is to determine hydraulic head. Hope this helps!

Hi Erika- these are specific to the data set being used as an example. Think of it as time steps 1, 2, and 3. Something like that. Hope this helps!

​@@alexandralutz7844 Thanks for the reply! I have a DEM and data for the initial GWL, lowest GWL and highest GWL taken at wells on the site. I'm wondering if I can use the initial GWL as say phase 1, lowest GWL as phase 2 and highest GWL as phase 3?

IDW is a choice for interpolation in ArcGIS, the program shown in the video. You can try both and compare.
