But these all contradictory. You cannot be polarized and relatable unless you copy them, which makes being mysterious impossible. You stay too mysterious, you are unrelatable. You cannot get someone to open up without being trustworthy, which means you can't be mysterious, and must be relatable. Repeat. Actually smoothbrain. Alot these won't work if you arn't already attractive to them, mystery especially. You can't build trust (the most important factor in establishing a relationship. Decades of social studies back this up) The best thing you can do is gain social status within their group: this automatically makes you trustworthy and is actually as close to a "cheat code" as it gets.

One thing that can help with step 5 (be mysterious) is to focus on being more interested and less on being interesting in conversation. Learn to ask questions. Listen. When you notice that you’re wanting to open up, try to think of questions to ask the other person. This is much easier than you think because naturally, people love talking about themselves. So when they leave the conversation, they leave feeling good because they didn’t realize in the moment, but they were talking about their self the entire time. Feeling good about their accomplishments, achievements, etc.

Bro after hearing your tips, after a month or so, I became motivated and i made a strict program for my day EVERYDAY and ive been doing it for almost a week and feel awesome. I have subconsciously started polarizing people more and more. Before, I tried to be nice to everyone but now I polarize so much that I Have been considered extreme and harsh by some of my friends, that I think I need to take a step back. I don't really know how to get people to open up to me, but I try to be more mysterious.
