What would you recommend for a roving day shelter. I am thinking poncho tarp or some sort of very light brolly shelter. I still think that’s not been mastered yet by a angling company.

The Scope Poncho or Multi Tarp are a great lightweight alternative day shelter, there's always the option of a Titan Hide as well, which at around 5kg is minimal in terms of bulk

@joem6669 still is. Small family run fishery little than 10 mins from my house has been emptied. She told me 15 of them turned up the one day. Was a place you took kids to get a bite. Now it's empty. Same stories on the canals here, too. Not so sure on the river here, as I don't go near it.
