Finaly somebody addresses crashing issues. most videos act as if the machine doesn't have this issue.

Super Noob here. 2 days old with my MPC and pulling out my hair..being 70 may be an issue also..lol. love the great way you do your explanations and the material is very useful. Thank you. The workflow? There's flow? Ok. I'll be patient but...maybe it's flow after a steep learning curve and adjustment to expectations and developing muscle memory and remembering the quirks like press the trim icon again to reveal another menu. WTF?

Glad you’re finding my vids useful! And I’m stoked that you’re 70 and working on a MPC, that is so awesome. I’m sure you can do it, just keep at it! What kind of music do you make? I’m launching one on one MPC lessons next year, let me know if you’d be interested?

I'd like to get into more of a Four Tet like feel with ambient flow and samples are a big part of that and incorporating synths. I love Bonobo, Thievery Corporation, Kruger and Dorfmeister etc. The samples on MPC are kind of limited in genre and that's disappointing. It's a slow process but the journey is half the fun. I may do your course if I decide to stick with the MPC..I am improving but there are some decisions about its limitations and flow. That said I did find myself making faster ideas and happy accidents. @@WatermarkHigh

CORRECTION (4:35 mins in): The MPC can auto-save. It will keep overwriting the current project though, so I still recommend saving in versions. To enable auto-save, go to Preferences -> Project Load/Save. You can enable and customise it from there. ADDENDUM: Multiple viewers have pointed out that you can also switch the metronome on/off (01:36) using the shortcut: Shift + Play Start. Thanks for sharing!

To export tracks as stems: if you press the Menu button on the MPC, click Save at the bottom. You will have multiple options. Select Audio Mixdown. This will allow you to explode all your tracks.

Thanks for sharing! 🙌🏼 I’m planning on doing a video all about stem exporting in the near future…
