I previously built an MPPT charger ( • Video ). It is very strong and durable, but it always works silently. I can not know what mode it is working in ?. Battery voltage, Current. So today I'm going to build a 10A solar battery charger (10A is enough for me, because my PV only has 100W). The prototype of the project is from Tim Nolan. Because this is an open source project, so I used the arduino code on www.instructables.com/id/ARDU... and microcontrolere.wordpress.com.... I have modified the code and hardware to suit me. I thanks to all of them for sharing their knowledge. After construction, it works very well, always 90% efficiency. Mosfet is very cool. In the next version, I will build a charger with greater current and voltage. Wait for me.

All my projects are free, I design them on EAGLE 6.0. I uploaded it to Google drive. You need to use a web browser to download the file and open the file with winrar software (extract) on the PC. Open schematic file (.SCH) and PCB file (.BRD) with EAGLE software.

Very nice project! And love watching your skillset at work. A nice collection of open source MPPT and PWM diy solar, wind and hydro charge controllers would be of great value to humanity. Especially if designed to be easily self-maintained and not throwaway like commercial systems. Watching your work with great interest...

hello i was interested in your project however i would have a few questions 1. what function does the yellow wire which leads from UCC 712, 2. what function is performed by the diode which is added on the bottom, both are missing in the diagram, thank you for the answer

why it keep showing current when the solar panel is disconected? when it shows that the charge is at 100%, it would stop the chargem isn't it?

Shouldn't the display show a drain on the battery when PV not connected? How do you stop your charger from draining the battery during the night?

the design is pretty much ok i even added some code to it to make it more intelligent like keypad to select from 12v to 48v panel.also with the keypad you can set the float voltage and bulk voltage to suit your taste.i switched the code back to work for 16x2 lcd.now the design is very compact and advance it may seem a little bit complex to others but now it more intelligent thanks.God bless you

When the input voltage is greater than 15V. It will charge the battery.

Why do your solar panel 36 Volts? Is 36 volts too high to incorporate into your circuit?

Mình đang xài 2 tấm pin 110w mắc nối tiếp được trên dưới 40v, dòng thì max gần 7A để xài hoà lưới. Mình muốn làm CB đảo để có khi cần thì đảo qua mạch này để xạc pin Lifepo4 thì làm theo sơ đồ này của bạn được không bạn ơi ? Cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ !

Calibrate the voltage in arduino code. You can use lead acid battery or lithium battery

What kind of paper do you use? Tracing the printed board looks very good, not broken at all. Do you use a laser printer?

@@PhdHung I read the comments and as of my knowledge I think you are taking about the the Ir2104 supply voltage am I right?? If I am right then how you circuit is working?You connect the battery and and solar panel is zero volt on the display that means the high side MOSFET get the gate voltage and that's the problem with my circuit . Please help. I already burn out 12 MOSFET and 4 driver (ir2105)

Really not good I measurement and calculate the controller maximum output to battery 55W to 60W while my solar panel output max 110W I really don't like this Please show me make more current because in the future i want to up my solar panel to 300W or more That time, 10A can't use for this Please help. Thank you

Your links for your libraries are not working! Specifically the LiquidCrystal_i2c. How about not using such an old library and modify your code so we don't get the "Positive not declared" error anymore.
