I lost 45k in MakeMyTrip I have booked a manali trip for 2 people with flights includes. Flight was cancelled by indigo because bad weather. I asked MMT for the refund, they said only flight refund they will give. The total refund from indigo for 2 flight is 30k. MMT has given only 15k. They blocked the number from customer care and they closed the case.

I think they analyze from which waitlist number the tickets will be confirmed and tickets may be partially confirmed upto those waitlist only they provide this option and the biggest joke is if ticket is partially confirmed they give any refund that means if one person from 6 tickets got confirmation or RAC then also no 3x refund, this is great strategy to fool us

I Just used this feature for delhi to Amritsar in tata jat exp, i paid 373 extra on 845inr 3A ticket just before 2 days from journey and it just confirmed now after 17 hours of booking, Glad tickets were confirmed, i was suspicious too that such scam could happen thankfully it didn't happen and my 4 tickets got confirmed even it has 70 Waiting list. I'm curious this could happen with me if my tickets got cancelled too.

I will never suggest anyone to take ticket from MMT and from today I will try to suggest or convince my near and dear to not use MMT for any kind of booking.MMT service is totally manipulating their customers and making money.For any small mistake they make it as a chance to make money from the customer and they will not provide service,just make business and nothing else!

You are wrong at this point, i was facing the same issue, my 2nd Ac tickets got cancelled, so i received voucher of 6000, which i was trying to use for flight, but facing same problem like you, then i called customer care and they told me to logout from make my trip and login again using Google with registered mail id, and that's it, i booked flight using that voucher.

Thanks Pooja for the comment. First of all jab aap info dekhoge mmt trip guarantee ka to flight or train asa kuch mentioned ni h and secondly I did tried this voucher with train as well but it didn't work. So I will suggest you don't try this otherwise after the cancellation you will lose your money better go for some other sites or in fact I would suggest going for irctc or sites like that for the train booking .
