Falcao at least made sense at the time, Chelsea and United needed strikers and it was the beginning of the season. Felix was signed in January for 12m euro, with no future fee. Chelsea's season was done, they weren't getting Europe, and they weren't getting relegated. They may as well have given 12m Euro to charity

He wasn't the worst performing, but he was the most pointless, even when they signed him. They got him in January, with no future fee, a massive loan fee, he didn't fit the system, and he was never going to make a difference to their season, they weren't getting relegated, they weren't making Europe. They paid 12m Euro for Felix to sit at the club for 6 months. At least with other shit loans like Arthur, Higuain, Falcao etc. they at least made a little sense at the time, they had a place in the squad and the team thought they'd make a difference to their season. Unless Felix turned into prime Messi he couldn't have changed Chelsea's season one bit.

Felix is a stupid suggestion. Atlético want to sell him (for a decent return because of his potential and “popularity “) and no big club wants him. I’m kind of sick of people using atleti’s system as an excuse for players that underperform. Felix simply has an attitude problem, gives you a glimpse or two of his obvious technical quality and then disappears and even in a lot of games you don’t even get that glimpse of him. He left and atleti had the best run of the season and didn’t miss him one bit

My take: #1 Tierney - solid argument from Joe. It seems that he is being forced out of the team. #2 Kessie - as a Culer, I feel that he will never find a home in our midfield, and as a Serie A fan, I wish he had never left Milan. #3 Mendy - mostly because I want to see Madrid suffer the lacknof depth when they let him go... but honestly, after that titanic transfer struggle that saw him choose Madrid over us, and we ended up with Firpo, and he isn't being valued, he should GO! A note on Kane - I get the argument to leave, trophies and all, transfer fee, but I still feel there is value in staying one more year to really etch his name on the Premier League scoring charts. It may seem sentimental, but sometimes HISTORY trumps personal ambitions. Being a sole club man isn't an empty accolade. Finally, the arguments on Hojlund (he needs stability and experience and Serie A deserves some good things #Serie A) and Theo (he loves Milan ❤️🖤 and is perfectly set up as the craque, alongside Leao, and fan's darling in a historic and competitive team. Tottenham should try go for Pickford. He’s not Champions League quality, but could do well in the Europa or Conference League which is what Spurs will likely be playing the next couple of years during this rebuild. Pickford is a solid Premier League proven goalkeeper who’d provide some confidence to the shaky backline at Spurs.

Mendy, Tierney, Felix. Kane's just a bit right there isn't it? Points off for lack of creativity imo lol. Other three are the best players listed without a nailed down home basically. Felix stint at chelsea is deeply overhated, forced mason mount out of the team, and was pretty much our only source of creativity for most of the second half of the season. Which isn't saying much, but the fact that it was expensive i don't think should count against as much as people are saying, since we clearly had the money to spend, would have been different if we didnt. Barnes is already pretty heavily linked so not sure he needs to force a move and Kessie just plays a weird position and isn't really good enough for a team to alter their set up to accentuate his strengths. I think most places he goes he's forced to either play out of position and be just a sorta above average midfielder, so it's sorta fine for him to just be rotation option at barca. Back to Milan is interesting to me, in a three of like Him RLC and Bennacer. But I don't think being a rotation option for Barca is looked at as being worse than starting for milan or else he would never have gone.

Liverpool’s loan of Arthur is basically worse than Källström in every way possible. More expensive, played less minutes, came into a side that was competing for the quadruple and then finished outside Top 4 with no trophies. Also desperately needed midfield reinforcements. Felix loan is worse simply because of the cost associated. Waste of time for everyone involved AND a huge waste of money
