The shed is looking a world better. It might be worth looking at if you can find a solar light kit just to get some light above the feed passage at night
@brendankearney2640Ай бұрын
We had shed rented last year like that lights were there but no power so got am electrician easy option bought an extra big led bar light put that on top over door brought a wire from it and a plug just plug into back of tractor or van when needed same as plugging in trailer lights
@ianhaggart1438Ай бұрын
Good work on the shed.. your getting there.. might want to use some 12v lights leds preferably and some two core wire and string 2 to 4 down the court pass to a battery.... just so you have lights for a long duration if needed.. stay safe 🏴

That shed will tidy up nicely I understand the work involved in sheds that age I will spend the winter feeding in one built in the 60s that has 55pens in it with chain scrapers under the slats originally silage fed from 100 foot high towers

Great plans for the shed it will be a great addition to your farm .great video

We went through putting troughs in with cattle. They always fill up with shite, everything now is a field trough outside that the cattle put their heads through a hole in the wall to drink out of.

Great job on the shed Phil theirs one thing the water pipe might be better if it was on the top bar of the gate because the cattle might chew on it where it is Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one

Ye will be bet on feed space if you expect to put 60 head in there yas should think about knocking out the back wall next the silage pit and put in feed barriers seeing there is concrete along it

If feeding with diet feeder and keep it in front of the barrier it will be fine for space

It's doing the same job. Why would you be running to the local builder merchant to throw you're money away. These boys are operating a cattle business which is a low margin business and making a success where many have failed. Money was made for minding not spending.

So…. You think using dairy cattle for beef is the way to go🤷♂️ Does that mean using beef cattle for dairy works too? What you put in is what you get out!! If the labour,drench,feed etc is the same cost Why waste your time with dairy for beef? Dairy bulls are for veal! I was breeding exotic which is Friesian x Hereford over Charolais They grow tall fast from the Friesian then full out from the 3/4 beef into beautiful beasts. But your doing beef bro Any beef is better then dairy,unless your milking which you aren’t. What you are doing is wasting your time,straight up! Beef breeds man
