YES!!! I am in love with the whale tails but, like you, will not bend to the online prices of this punch!. I actually contacted the original company to ask why they didn't re-issue it and the girl said they still had a whale punch. She sent me a picture of their cute little "whale" punch, lol. This is fabulous, never would have thought of this. I am terrible of cutting whale tags out of kits, always one side is slightly different to the other side. Last week I had a brain wave and that was to cut, out, fold in half and use my inch punch half way. Problem solved. lol thank you for this clever idea. ❤❤❤

Hi Sharon: while I was watching your tutorial, I kept thinking that shape is more than familiar to me. I pushed the thought aside and went about my business. Then at my studio the other day the light bulb went off. I was going through my DMC floss and there was the imagine. It turned out to be the card board floss bobbins that you wind your thread around. I pulled one out and traced it onto paper. And yes, there it was. I immediately made 6 of them. I, too, feel the actual punch itself is just too expensive. I thought I would share that with you.
