One painful thing to realize is that as you improve, some people, including family and friends, will be resentful and discouraging toward you because you dare to better yourself.

True though people need to be careful so as not to make the wrong sacrifice like Cain did. Abel gave the sacrifice God asked for while Cain gave what HE felt was adequate.

I think there was an evil threat of pride The Father saw in Cain and he was seeing if he would humble himself and ask his brother for one of his lambs to offer which would have facilitated giving and receiving,which is a blessing to both.

@@stevegeorge3903 He is right..Remember God cursed the earth, God needed blood sacrifices. I have no idea if Cain was ignorant of that fact or just be nonchalant about how he approached God. To make matters worst he killed a company that can make him better. Though there's a spiritual significance to the whole matter but on the other hand that's why God rejected Cain's sacrifice, it wasn't the Required sacrifice to make.

It was other psychologists and psychiatrists that made sacrifices, by staying within the requirements expected of them when they became licensed mental counselors. It was Jordan that became financially wealthy and famous when he went rogue on social media ... preaching religion, making statements about science, politics, anti-transgender statements, et cetera ... while totally abusing his guidelines AS a psychologist. His haughty self-serving attitude was and is ... "I am Jordan Peterson ... and I don't have to follow any guidelines expected of ME." It was that haughty attitude of “I’LL DO WHAT I WANT TO DO” … that appealed to millions of Jordan’s followers as being a SHOW of POWER. “YOU TELL THEM OFF FOR ME TOO JORDAN. ‘WE’ DON’T HAVE TO FOLLOW ANY GUIDELINES THAT ‘WE’ DON’T WANT TO FOLLOW!!!”

So happy to hear the courts ruled against you...maybe you will stop to reflect on the harms you have done, but I doubt it.

Who hasn't done harm in trying to be helpful? That is unfortunately the way we learn. If I'm afraid to make mistakes or worried I may cause some harm or offend someone I will remain a sponge, a dead sea. Life's experiences flowing in and nothing flowing out.

It's so good to be a victim and put the blame on others for your own failures, isn't it?
@stevegeorge3903 Жыл бұрын
@@greencat1976 I know quite a few people myself included who have lived the majority of their lives oblivious to the need of accountability and self appraisal. Until I came to a place where I had nothing but material things to comfort me,and they were no comfort at all, I had to admit I didn't have all the answers and I then asked for help.

Ok. I disagree but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I try to be unbiased and not self centered (bc that's how we learn and grow) so I checked to see what you might have to say or offer on your channel. As expected, you have nothing to offer but unhelpful comments. I do not agree with everything Dr. Peterson says but hearing it from his perspective is interesting and makes some of us understand things from another viewpoint. His education and dedication to helping those who want it is noble and selfless. Wishing I'll fate on people with differing opinions just shows your own self hatred and misery. Be better my friend, you will live a happier life.
