I love making patterns. I cant afford the monthly cost for repper though so I like using wowpatterns for a fraction of the cost. There is so much leeway for creativity when making patterns with these types of tools. With one piece of my clipart, there is the ability to make like hundreds of patterns if you were to go section by section of the image and use the different size options and features(ie simple, cross weave, and hexagonal are some of my favorites). I then turn the patterns into bookmarks, journal covers, leggings and more to sell both digitally and physically just like you Mey. I need to start buying my own stuff like you do so I can see how cool it is in person and advertise my stuff at the same time. Love that bikini you made. Wish I had the young athletic body to pull off wearing one of those. Alas, I am more the swimsuit cover type model, lol.

Hi Melanie, Wouter here, cofounder of Repper👋 We’ve noticed that WowPatterns has made a copy of our app which is much cheaper, but also much less functionality. How are you finding their product, and what would make Repper worth moving to (apart from price)? Talking about pricing: we sometimes have special deals that bring our pricing closer to WowPatterns, but you get a much better product (if I may say so myself 😉). It could be worth keeping an eye on Mey’s channel in the next weeks 🤫

@@repper I'm someone else that thinks Repper is an amazing app, but also really can't afford another subscription. Even at a reduced price, I'd still be pretty hesitant. I'd much rather pay more up front for a lifetime licence, or at the very least have a one time fee per version. I'm also really not a fan of creating my art on web apps at all, so this is another issue that's holding me back. I'd much prefer a desktop app. Or even better a Photoshop plugin. I pretty much always import art created in other apps into Photoshop for final edits and adding metadata, so having Repper right inside Photoshop would be pretty awesome. This is why I've been looking into Filter Forge. It can be pretty pricey depending on the version you get, but it does have the lifetime license I'm looking for as well as being a desktop app.

My accent is indeed a thing... I grew up with one accent, that didn't fit my country, and had to change it as I was entering kindergarden due to bullying. I then traveled a lot, learned to adapt my accent to the place I am at, to be more understood, and finally with KZbin- I chose an "Americanized" accent to be more understood to people who's native language isn't English. The way I speak is often affected by who I interact with on that day, what languages I was speaking on that day, or how tired I am LOL

Thank you for your effort and sharing the x ray. I got mine removed around 23. It's something we have to do, think about the "after" and hopefully that will help. This too will pass. Thank you also for the information. I have tried Repper and I love it so much. I'll be watching some of your other tutorials and will try to get at least one design in Printful. I sympathise about the teeth issue. I've had wisdom teeth issues in the past. And last year had ALL of the rest of my upper teeth taken out. I took a few days off work. Had to get used to speaking differently with a denture in my mouth. I still don't sound like myself.

I LOVE these patterns!!!! Do you have or can you make a video on how to create the biggest seamless pattern for large products like bedding, credenza or large tapestries without ruining the dpi. I have challenges with that. I don't have Procreate, but I have all the other tools. Thanks🤗

What I do to get insane DPI on most design. I export my designs as a pdf print from canva. then i import them to gimp. With a of 1200 DPI. this ends up with about 16k x 21k resolution. Then I just resize my image to an appropriate size. But the image still stays super crisp 😊 thats how I sorted my DPI issue

Could you please, please, please tell me which design size in Canva do you use for making spiral notebook for Fourthwall since there are two sizes of notebooks (US and EU)? I've made patterned notebook with a clipart at the bottom and I've just got this morning mine order samples and the design is cut on each side...

If you use canva it have the size you need. Or you can click on Canva the item they have and you can see what size you want.

@@desirebiggiers4240 I did the math to make Canva design like Mey described in one of previous videos... 5.75*300*2 etc (when I open to design a notebook it says 5.75*8.75 size needed) and it looked fine on a preview but all 3 notebooks that I've ordered were cut off. I also bought them to take my own photo of a product but now that's off the window too... I guess I'll stick with patterns and clipart or text in the middle, just to be sure... 🤔

How do you set patterns up to sell. Is this on creative fabrica

You can sell them on Craetive Fabrica, on other marketplaces for digital files, on your own digital files shop, or on print on demand items. There are hundreds of options. it's up to you what you wanna sell.
