Excellent work! Love it. This was one of the most useful videos on art I've seen in such a long time. I've been struggling to clearly define my art style and process and have been flip-flopping a little too much. Seeing your 5 step plan inspired me to carefully think my own steps and write it down. ❤

Thank you Toby. I loved the way you simplified the busy photo and then added all those punchy colours. The wires and pole were the great finishing touch! Really enjoyed that. It was very helpful 😊

Great one as usual, but fyi, the initial pencil .. that isn’t a color that can be easily seen on screen even zooming in. Well, not to my old eyes anyway. 😊 Aside from that, how are you liking that ultra fine nib?

Thanks for the info! Really enjoying the nib ✒️✒️

I enjoy your videos and am learning so much! I'm pretty new to watercolor. What do you think about fixative, sealer, or any other way of preserving your watercolor when your done? Thanks!
@TobySketchLoose11 ай бұрын
I don't use any of the above, watercolour shouldn't need it

Thanks for this! One question to fountain pens: I bought a Lamy Safari pen. The store told me not to use waterproof ink with it. It would get very soon stucked in the pen and ruins it. I bought a cup of Pelikan writing ink but for painting I'm not happy with it
@TobySketchLoose11 ай бұрын
I use carbon ink or sketch ink in my LAMY. These stores aren't aware of permanent inks designed for fountain pens often.

Hi Diana, I outline them as I go along. They're also in the chapters if you look at the timeline ☺️
How come your squiggly lines look like art and mine look like a five year old drew them? I’m half joking and half serious. 😂

We’re our own worst critics. That said we should not rule out experience. But we might need to be more mindful on how our mind reacts. Be ok with the happy little accidents and the unplanned design modification. Enjoy the process start small and most important of all have funs
