Should point out. That Elanora does not infact always invade. Someone else will invade at certain time inside of yura's questline. It's a dude with a ruduvia. And a blood AOE.. at that point, you have to either progress Yura's Quests or kill him. Then return to the Church and be invaded by Elenora. And when the guy comes at you it doesn't give you an invasion warning.

Great vid brother, I never even knew the albunaric staff was so arcane heavy, after running some numbers , a 50/50 split build only does like 10% less than the Regal at 80 int, that's crazy and that reduvia, slept on, I was able to take down rhe apostle in the Calida tower at like level 35 with it(for my goslayer build) that ash of war is insanely good, I feel an arc/int build incoming 😀

0:52 HARD disagree. "Occult" Scavenger Curved Sword is 100% arcane weapon. Occult is for pure arcane -- lowers str/dex scaling but raises arc scaling very well, and it's the only affinity that affects innate blood loss buildup some weapons have (Bleed affinity overwrites innate bloodloss). So weapons that come with blood loss and have low str/dex requirements are perfect for Occult. You can keep your str/dex very low and just pump arcane. And you say they nerfed bleed... also, some bosses are immune to bleed. No problem, still doing great phy damage thanks to Occult.

Honestly, with an arcane focused build and just enough Faith for most incantations, it's the seal with the highest incantation scaling there is, and it also makes Dragon incantations stronger, so like... Slap, chomp, rot breath.. it's awesome. Switched my main to an Arcane-Dex-Faith build in NG+ and running with poison affinity dual Scavenger's Curved Swords, and dragon and blood incantations. It's amazing. - Current stats are 80 arcane, 50 dex and 30 faith.

A great combo to the Reduvia is duel wielding it with the Black Knife! Using the black knife ability will do a pretty good chunk of healthy and will immediately drain some of the enemies health, and stop them from fully healing! Then following that with Reduvia’s ability can really take you a long way. Dual wielding it and doing the left bumper attacks do very swift and staggering attacks, where most enemies will not be able to even moved before they are dead. Good Luck, Tarnished.

Personally I use the Dragon Communion Seal for all my Arcane builds rather than the Albinauric Staff. The Albinauric Staff increases the bleed build up of aberrant sorceries, to be frank they kind of suck. the Dragon Communion Seal on the other hand increases the damage output of dragon communion incantations which include a ton of fantastic options. The seal also scales really well with Arcane. From playing around at ~90 Arcane and ~50 Faith. Each point in Arcane increases the scaling of the seal by at least a point even at this high Arcane level, whereas Faith requires an investment of 3 points to increase the scaling by 1 even though I am not even at the soft cap. My current primary build at NG+3 attempts to combine Bleed and Dragon Communion incantations (around 60 Dex, 90 Arcane, 50 Faith). This is not ideal for NG, but you have enough points in NG+ and past to make some like this very viable. The synergy is actually great.

I'm not bragging by any means, but I'm proud of the fact that I farmed or got every weapon, armor set, incantation, spells, and ashes in my first play through. So many hours of just farming enemies. 9:21 concerning Eleonora to invade... If you reach mountaintops and meet Shibari , Eleonora will spawn regardless if you have done yura's questline or not. but.. that's far away... Yura questline is somewhat long since u have to have access to the raya academy... If you want this weapon very early. Kill Yura as soon as you see him. This will make Eleonora invade at the church.

The followup strike on eleonora's poleblade ashe of war is my favorite part about it (after the crazy dmg). Get in some damage and gtfo while also doing damage. Plus its easy to cheese the fight at level 1 by getting her to chase you off the cliff if you're willing to do things like that lol. My bandit went and got reduvia and eleonora's poleblade right away and I haven't looked back since. Gave up on my confessor for the time being even though he's a lot of fun with great stars also lmfao.

I aggre but scavangers curved swords. Well they were very nerfed but they are still good to bigger bosses. Even godskin due was easy. But it is bad in multiplayer and in some other bosses. Amazing video. Keep it up!!!🔥🔥🔥

But I still don't have the one tru single setup for completing all the endings. Does that even exist? Btw, the serpent bow (and also serpent arrows) inflict deadly poison, not just regular poison. Some other items that have the superior (but half long as lived) form of poison are the serpentbone katana, and poison moth AoW.

lol... Short Sword or Long Sword. Not even kidding. "maxing faith, still have viable melee" Out of all the 'regular' weapons, for some reason Short Sword gets best faith scaling when setting it to Sacred or Flame Art affinity. Long Sword is a close second, has sightly more damage&range, might be surpassed by short sword at high lvls due to scaling (not sure). Sacred and Flame Art affinities lower str/dex scaling to E, but give good fai scaling... good for min/maxing and going pure faith. I started Prophet and didn't put any points into str/dex the whole run. And those swords are lightweight, dont' need endurance either. Basically just leveling Faith, then Health, then Mind. Doing mostly spells, but having melee when I don't wont to waste blue juice. Short Sword from a limgrave merchant or Long Sword at roundtable. Sacred Blade skill for the Sacred affinity, early game easy pickup. Red-Hot Whetblade for Flame Art affinity tough but possible to get early game. Need to go to Redmane Castle before beating 2 great rune bosses (before festival starts)... They catapult you on that bridge on the way, need to panic jump with horse. Flaming Strike is a nice skill for the extra fire buff, but doesn't give the right affinity, need that red whetblade. But keep in mind I just like min/maxing characters for fun. Blasphemous blade is great too, many great faith weapons. But it's heavier, demands some str&dex, and gets decent scaling from str&dex, encouraging more levels of str/dex. And the tiny healing from its skill is nice... but what's really nice is the higher level healing spells that actually scale with faith. By mid/late game I had just a few red flasks for emergency quick heals. My big heal spell did much more than a red flask. And Erdtree Seal for the main seal you actually upgrade, other seals in the sword hand just for boosting certain spells (don't need to upgrade or cast with them, just equipping for the buff to certain spells)

I've used the scavenger curved swords all the way through new game plus three. Just put cold affinity on them and literally melt them away. And that's all the way to elden beast.

Curious if anyone experimented with an Ice Lightning build? When I last played; dual wielded Bandit’s Curved Blades with Frostbite and Lightning. Seemed decent enough, lots of damage, many enemies seem to less resistant to lightning, frequent stagger and stuns.

I'll have to try out some of your numerous suggestions. I'm always pretty basic with weapons and I have been using the Great Sword (colossal sword) for the better part of 2 play throughs, although I am currently experimenting with the Sacred Relic Sword around Mogwin's Palace. The only other melee weapon that I have spent any amount of time with is the Great Stars for dealing with Crystallians.

Just a quick note - I was just helping someone get the poleblade last night and Elonora didn’t appear when we got to church. Just a Sanguine Noble. You have to progress the quest by talking to Yura north of Patches cave in Limgrave so he moves to Liurnia, at the very least. Not sure if you need to do Liurnias quest as well.

At only 2.5 lbs. the Reduvia is by far the best Arcane weapon, but the ash of war skill is not the reason, its because you can have gigantic poise with almost no investment in endurance. Also don't bother dual wielding it because the move set is better with just one. Second best arcane weapon is Occult Venomous Fang which has the fist move set which is OP. Hint put impaling thrust on it because Bloodflame talons true combos into impaling thrust. Have fun!

I really liked bleed focus.. until i ran into a ton of enemies that are immune to it. Then I beat Malenia and started using her sword because it's more damage focused with good poise breaking, the bleed build up only being a bonus and not a focus. The ash is also very cool and wonderful to see.

rivers of blood actually ruined my first playthrough, I leveled up the sword you start with as a samurai build, stuck with it, found another longer sword, learned how to dual weild these....which led me to it.......malenia 3rd attempt, black blade 1st, godskin duo 1st.....walked all over the final boss duo with this bleed build too which doesn't make sense?

Most people would have to have larval tears on standby when the dlc drops,100 percent. If it's anything like we saw with ds3,the dlc bosses and enemies are going to be way tougher.

Rip everyone that’s going to be starting the dlc on their ng+7 ☠️ I’m still on ng+1 just for that reason. y’all better hope there’s some sort of scaling but there probably won’t be unfortunately

I thought they only nerfed bleed in multiplayer but not in single player? Did they nerf it again or something?
