This is such a ridiculous suggestion. Putting Itauma in with a world level fighter when he's never faced anyone legit would be career suicide. Also what's in it for Hrgovic? He's coming off a loss and needs to rebuild. The last thing he would want is a high risk low reward fight against a young prospect.

No not really I think it would be an equal match up for both fighters. Mosses needs to step up a level sooner or later. Filpip hergovic putting Mosses in his place would put him back on the radar. It would be a decent fight and I'd probably back Mosses but could easily go either way.

@@mjimleeAJ and Itauma’s natural ability levels are completely different. Itauma has much more fluidity in movement, can box at range and step in sharp with different shots at angles. AJ was and still is pretty stiff. I’d like to see him fight a Franklin or Wallin next if I’m honest… then move into a frazer clarke or maybe Dillian whyte after. If all goes well, then start thinking about hergovic/parker/AJ

As much as he might beat Hrgovic, I still would like to see him take on another fighter that is perhaps beneath that level. Why not Franklin, a fighter who is very durable and took both Joshua and Whyte the distance, arguably even beating Whyte? It would be a good test of Moses's power.

Nosferatu needs to calm down. Just because hrgovic struggled more with Mckean and lost to Dubois by a cut it doesn’t mean itauma beats him now. Hrgovic is very well schooled hits pretty hard and he’s got an iron chin. Zhang landed big shots on him and he never went over… that’s saying something because Zhang is a monstrous puncher. He could very well drag itauma into the second half of the fight and beat him just by experience

Nice, someone who understands boxing. I’m not saying Hrgovic is the best fighter in the world, but he clearly underestimated Dubois and didn’t have the best conditioning for that fight. Even with that being said, he performed three times better than Joshua did against Dubois. It would be a mistake to put Moses against Hrgovic now. If you’re considering putting him against Hrgovic, you might as well match him against anyone else-except for Usyk, who is the only one clearly levels above the rest. In terms of talent and skills, I’d rank Hrgovic, Zhang, AJ, Parker, and Dubois at about the same level. They can all beat each other on any given day.

Hey, don't exaggerate too much on itauma, McKean was not comfortable with that Reverse Guard from the beginning. He was fooled like a beginner, all Itauma did was jab to the body to find the opening with the left in the face, he saw that it would pass from the first exchange... It makes the difference between a pro and an amateur, good Knockout but litle desepointed about McKean approch

That's not good matchmaking. Build the lad up in stages and go up the levels step by step. I'd go David Adelaye or Johnny Fisher next. Then Fabio Wardley. Then an Anderson for US exposure and then someone like Hrgovic.

What a nonsense video. Talking about darts & a fight that's just NOT going to happen anytime soon. With GAD it's expected but I expect better from Catterall. The Hrgovic fight won't happen for a multitude of reasons... 1. Frank surely isn't looking to put him in with such a high risk & currently low reward fighter. 2. What does Hrgovic get out of beating a fresh 20 year old? The only incentive could be money & they ain't paying him big for that. FURTHERMORE, people are delusional when it comes to Hrgovic & are oblivious to the fact he's also been fighting the boxing establishment in his last couple. i.e McKean should've been disqualified vs Hrgovic for excessive holding start to finish & Dirty Dan Dubois should've actually LOST a technical decision as per the rules... Cuts not caused by punches > Stopped due to said cuts/doctor advice after 4 completed rounds > Technical decision (NOT TKO) > Hrgovic was up 5-2 or 4-3 at the time of stoppage. To the DCAF it looked like Hrgovic had a clean competitive with McKean & got punched up by Dubois. What actually happened is McKean had an unlimited holding pass deduction free & Dubois got away with 20+ "accidental head clashes" A.K.A professional headbutts which ultimately blood blinded Hrgovic allowing Dubois to tee off with haymakers that would eventually sleep anyone- It's a testament to Hrgovic chin that he was stopped on his own two feet, >95% of heavyweights would've been on their backs taking that punishment from Dubois in those last 2 rounds.

2025 should be a year of development fights for ITAUMA. I'd put him in with JOYCE next as he's a pressure fighter, but slow and weak on defense. He will likely give Moses some rounds. After that give him a guy like Jerrell MILLER or Dillian WHYTE. These guys are tough and will give Moses some experience. Then step up to HRGOVIC and if he can get in a 4th fight in 2025 book him with the loser of DUBOIS-PARKER.

Itauma is good but he hasn’t fought any opposition yet, when Mike Tyson was his age he’d had about 23 fights against what people have always called ‘tomato cans’ pre Berbick but let me tell you, in the 80’s there was no ‘easy way’ to get a world title shot, and Tyson fought WAY better guys, some of them REAL tough guys like Mitch Green and Tillis etc, and the way Jesse Ferguson lasted with a PEAK destroyer young 19 year old Tyson was literally incredible toughness. Itauma needs much tougher opposition, I’m just not sure whether it’s around below title level right now. Take out, Usyk, Fury, AJ, Dubois, wardley etc and who have you got that itauma can fight below those guys? Bakole would be great. Hunter, Hergovic, Miller- would all be ‘better’ match ups than he’s been getting. Remember there’s no learning in throwing a right hand and your opponent falls over. Edit- watch the Mike Tyson v Jesse Ferguson fight here on KZbin. Remember that that’s a 19 yr old Mike Tyson in there. Jesse Ferguson was tough as nails. Even Tyson himself who stopped him on his feet in rnd 6 said he was the toughest guy he ever fought.

Please stop getting giddy, how many times have we seen fighters who have been blown up and surrounded by yes men, and hyped beyond belief come unstuck, or almost. Recently Ben Whittaker, and Jonny Fisher to name two. Moses needs managing correctly, he is the most exiting prospect at heavyweight for decades I would hate to see him thrown to the lions just to fill some promoters greedy bank account. No-one has even hurt him yet, you've got no idea how he would handle it. I remember Frank Bruno knocking them over for fun in his early fights, but when he got to top level and got hurt he crumbled.Bring him on in stages and he could rule the heavyweight scene for years. I can't wait to see what he can do at top level, but not just yet.
