❤Thank you so much for this pattern!! My daughters and future daughter-in-law were soooo happy when they pulled these out of their stockings! I used terry, 2 layers of grey flannel in middle and ocean print flannel on top. I did prewash all (looked a bit messy, so I trimmed up edges). They loved them and are requesting more pads. They especially loved the bag since they wouldn’t have to hunt for another lingerie bag. So many thanks to you and your creative pattern making self!!❣️👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Love these! Back in the summer I made some using terry cloth for one side and flannel for the other side. I left a small opening and turned them so the Raw edges were on the inside, then top stitch around which closed up the opening. (I love your method better.). I just stacked 7 together and tied with a ribbon….but your mesh bag is sooooo much better. Thank you for sharing!!!

I was making something similar for a local hospital and I used my Cricuit and it works great!. The Cricuit maker has the ability to cut fabric.@@FarrellFocus

No. This flannel gets soft with washing, so I did not prewash. 👍🏻

Hi Stephanie, I am trying to make your cottons balls and bag. I have some questions and problems. What is your seam allowance? Did you say and I missed it? Also, my machine is eating my mesh. Did I get it too small in weave? 1/2 inch seems too thick but if I use 1/4 inch I can’t seem to sew a straight line.

I’m so sorry that your struggling. I didn’t have that problem. I used about a half inch seam allowance. I’m not really sure what I would do. Maybe get some different mesh or use some seam binding with the mesh sandwiched in between?
