Awesome video! I was able to copy it (mostly) I had to change the paint mode on the instance mask to minimum or multiply for it to work. I was wondering if anyone would know how to create copies of the portal for 3 more people/screens in a zoom/twitch situation. I use OBS to to screen record 4 of us on screen and was wanting to make 4 of these portals but I can’t figure it out. Thx for the awesome work!

Neat, I fly fpv and I would like to see how i can be flying, say towards a doorway and when i go through it enter a different scene entirely and then again through say a gap in a fence and the. A new scene and so on. I have an idea to fly through the door of a house, into a gym, around the gym and through a tyre as i come out the tyre I enter a motorcycle dealership, then back through a door into a theatre. Etc etc.its understand the masking and the sizing I am struggling with.

Great effect, but please consider slowing down your demonstration in Resolve as it will make it much easier to see what you are doing and follow along.

Thanks for the input! These VFX videos aren’t really meant to be step by step tutorials. They’re more meant to showcase what some of the tools in fusion can do and get you thinking about things that you can make yourself. Otherwise I would go way slower. I do have a beginners guide to fusion on my channel that goes way slower and covers things like how to approach a composition, how nodes interact with each other, etc. If you watch that before watching some of my VFX videos then it will make a lot more sense.

Not totally related but I ran into an issue with my last audio edit. I raised the volume of two B roll clips expecting just those clips to be affected. (They were add-ins to the main footage.) Everything sounded great in editing (and even after) on my laptop. Skip to, now I've uploaded to YT. Now the main footage audio is severely overdriven, especially in mobile devices. (We'll just say, the final result would have been great for a heavy metal electric guitar player but, terrible for a tutorial instructor.) What might I have done wrong? (I'm using the free version at the moment.)
