@PrismaticBrushChannel3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I bake him twice so i dont squash details :) It does take alot of practice to learn how to hold a clay sculpture without squashing parts (and sometimes i have to go back over areas and fix them off camera) I hope that helps :D

aww thank you! That's greatly appreciated! My biggest tip, is keep trying! My first few pieces weren't very good, but I kept at it and learnt something new everyday :D Also, make sure your oven temperature is accurate and the best way to do that is to buy a little oven thermometer :)

@@PrismaticBrushChannel is it possible to "over bake" them or are they pretty much safe from that?
@PrismaticBrushChannel2 жыл бұрын
@@jamieraisbeck4592 If you keep at the correct temperature for your brand of clay, you can't over bake them (you can find plenty of info on this online if you like). but, If the temp is too high you can burn them and make them brittle.

I'm not sure how much I used, maybe 3-4 small packets? The bulkier you make the armature, the more clay you will save :)

Hey I had a quick question, I am using air drying clay, can I still do the aluminum foil method and just bake it?
@PrismaticBrushChannel3 жыл бұрын
i don't use air drying clay, so i'm not sure about the rules of its use. But i would think if you bake it, that it might dry out too fast and crack. So i don't recommend that. you can use and armature and just let it air dry :)

Terrible tutorial honestly on a beautiful piece you skip most of the facial explaination and block what u dont with your fingers. No idea what you did on the nose. Great piece bad tutorial.
@PrismaticBrushChannel10 ай бұрын
It’s only a very short 12 minute tutorial on a 3 day long sculpt. Sorry but I had to cut awful lot of video 😅 Most of his facial expression is covered with the fish, so I didn’t really do much work with it because of that and for the nose I just poked holes in the clay with a small ball point tool 😁
