That's the best tip "YT creators" ever postet! Tons of credit to this woman and her words. That's exactly what I needed to learn for myself when I stopped growing. It was not the thought "how can I grow" that made me getting better, It was the thought: "what do I need to do to love my own content and the the whole youtube thing?" I learned for myself that I really enjoyed the feeling to entertain people and make them happy. After understanding that subscribers and views came automatically....faster than ever before. LOVE YOUR AUDIENCE so the will love you too! LOVE WHAT YOU DO any time. Otherwise you'll never do your best and be the best you could be :)

Good advice from a cool person! I started my youtube channel about a year ago, and my first video was really plain, no editing. I just upload because i love doing what i'm doing. I never sign in to my youtube account after that, i thought no one will ever discovers my silly tutorial. But about 3 months later i just realize that i got about 3000 views (it's nothing compare to other youtubers), it feels like i'm flying over the moon. Now i have about 2.5K subscribers. The key to get attention/views is not to do what other people do, but to do what you really enjoy, and do it with heart.

it's just coz of Hannah hart that I started my youtube channel..she is so inspiring and positive person...I have been subscribed to Hannah since 3 yrs now and wanted to live my dream of giving my creativity some visual on youtube...but was always hesitant as the concept of youtuber is still not well developed in my country but I got the courage from Hannah's videos and thoughts,then finally I uploaded my first video in dec 2014...though I still have things to learn and are very small in context of subscribers but I still feel happy posting those videos as in the words of Hannah I make videos for that one person who enjoys it the most and that's me.:)... Brilliant and inspiring video, especially as someone who is recent to youtube and making videos! I may have very few views and subscribers but it doesn't matter because I spend my free time making and editing videos and it's so much fun. Seeing someone have a career doing something they truly love makes me so happy, no one should ever feel restricted creatively because it just dims your internal light. When I first started KZbin I had no idea how people made their channel into a career, or how they got views or how different types of channels should do different things to appeal to their demographic. It has just given me the best foundation of knowledge to get me started with my own KZbin career. I also like how you use actual successful KZbinrs and not just people who know about statistics. Its best to learn from people who are actively using their KZbin and creating.

This is a great video. I have done videos before that I didn't really love because I felt that it was necessary for the audience. What I came to find was it didn't feel right because it wasn't something I enjoyed. So I started over and this time I took the approach of I wanted make what I loved and interested me. As a result I have a small subscriber count of only 73 people right now, but this is people who love what I do just as I love to do it. (Love them a lot) I spend a massive amount of time planning out what I want to do and then doing it. Before this was a challenging job that I didn't enjoy. Now that I focus on what I love it's no longer a chore. I may not be the best but I improve as I go along and I can continue to do so since I love what I do.

KZbin Creator Academy Of course! I think every point Hannah made has fantastic merit, but I especially love the points on sticking with what you're passionate about and being true to yourself (ex: not making videos solely for views and being out of your true-to-self zone), and how if you keep trying and evolving your methods, you're not failing. The fact that you've taken an idea and turned it into something real is inspiring and is the path to success - Never. Give. Up. I know my channel isn't huge, but in the year I've spent researching and learning as much as I can, I'm amazed at what I've learned and experienced. It's my dream to have a successful channel and I intend to see it through; videos like this inspire me and help with advice :) Not only that, but I've had quite a few people already asking for advice when it comes to filming, editing, marketing, etc. - that always makes me feel good knowing I've learned so much about how all of this works that I can help others!

Love this video! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration. I make videos about crafting, and at first I did it cause I loved watching crafting videos and wanted to give back to the community. Now I do it, because I have so much fun. The other day I whipped up a 2 min video, just cause I felt like sharing a tip I thought of, and in 10 minutes my video was posted.
