Every time when I watch this kind of videos, I ask myself, why I studied so many years, working in a stressful job, when I could do this kind of job. It would make me so happy. @@couchdetectivesunite I’ve seen them all. Wasn’t the first one approx June/July 2020, when Covid closed everything but essentials? I remember watching while in the parking lot waiting for my pet, who was at a Vet appt. Anyhoo…those first 3 vids (taken down within weeks) showed a section of his cheek very inflamed, scabbed and about to burst. He had those really hardened clogged pores and on the first cheek, Houng did a great job emptying them. Lots of empty pores, filling with healthy blood, as they should when the “plug” is fully extracted. His other cheek was also big clogged pores! And, a huge blackhead on his nose. Having seen that in 2020, I assumed, surely he’d be given antibiotics, which would knock the blemishes out of the park! He comes back, 2 years later - with big skin scars, mounds of infected areas…and, tons & tons of brown clogged pores. I apologize, but I don’t see this as an improvement. I wish that these clients/patients had fierce advocacy-a Derm or Physician group who’d bring antibiotics to the Spas, and train the Spa owners how to get the clients to use them. Yes, there may be a cultural issue taking oral meds, but once they see the results-it can only help.

This woman is amateur in her approach at best. Lancet used incorrectly, cyst on lower half of cheek in first portion of video not even close to being cleaned out. Races over sections of face with multiple blackheads giving most a quick squeeze to give the impression of being empty. The best technicians constantly pull the skin tight checking for pore clearance, take their time, do multiple squeezes if necessary, and do not stab their client like trying to pop a pinyata

​@0_-EL It is a multi-stage clearing. First couple of treatments are assessment and partial draining. This is to reduce the immediate swelling from huge pockets of cystic acne, remove "cystic seeds" in the spots most likely to go full cystic soon, and to open the pores with keratin plugs. Then a topical is applied and given for home use. The next 2-3 sessions are maintenence while the topical does the work. The cystic acne is drained, the refilling blackhead cores removed, and any further cystic seeds taken out. The skin becomes tighter and shinier at this stage, and may begin peeling. The 3rd stage is a reassessment. Either the topical can now handle the rest, a stronger topical is needed, more sessions are needed for particularly inflamed folk, or other methods should be explored, like Accutane.

She lost me in first ten seconds..put gloves on then touched face, epic fail. You put mask on then gloves..the gloves must touch nothing but the sterile blade and the client. His face has her bacteria all over it. Sorry but that's one of the first things you learn regarding cross contamination.Acne forms when bacteria enter the pore... think about it. Blade slicing into a pore..and her hands have hours of bacteria freshly transferred onto her gloves wiping the fresh excision. Recipe for disaster. Like watching Final Destination...don't worry...he'll be back for sure this client.

Darlene, I do not think you are watching the same video I’m watching. Or perhaps you’ve had a few too many cocktails before you watched this. This is one tech who is not afraid to lance and squeeze the most inflamed and red pimpled areas. It is those areas, if left untouched like many techs do, which will become badly scarred. The small punctures or incisions made by this tech will not leave visible scars. In my opinion this tech is doing excellent work.
