From the slow-motion video, it seems that your right arm goes behind your torso and creates an arc when throwing. Maybe there is an opportunity to go straighter and get even some more speed? Anyway, excellent stuff.

I think it’s nuanced but the answer is potentially yes. Thanks for the feedback :)

Dont agree that you drive with the left leg more or less at all. I think back leg and front leg is right, you need to drift to keep cog low which enables weight to get behind the brace. So as the right foot touches ground weight is driven in to that foot and off the left. So the squishy the bug is just a natural response and the leg should be tought but unweighted. I do think anyone getting the drift correct will reach a higher potential regardless of you drive or dont drive from the left leg or right since either way the forces will get a more solid brace. I just say that the next level is to left the weight drop into your right leg and come of the left. No sport were you shoot a club do you ever stand on the left leg if you play lefty and the overall motions are pretty much the same just that we get more leverage with the extension of the club.

Two different techniques, we don't have enough research to figure out which is better. This technique is more rotationally driven. Sounds like what you're referring to is Overthrows style which is focused more on arm speed. Simon and Gannon have more of this form.

If you watch Simon and Gannon, they are also great at using the back leg. Front leg throwing got me stuck at the same distance for 3 years.

So how far can you throw now? Good stuff!

Thanks! Haven’t been able to throw outdoors in a while but probably 530-540.
