I am thrilled beyond belief that I happened to stumble upon this channel - I love your videos so, so much! I am involved in so many craft mediums, but making bath/body products is my dream - and making candles! This is a bit intimidating to me though so I haven't put in any effort to make anything yet. My biggest concern is with the strength of the scents I would use - especially when it comes to candles. Honestly, I only want to make melt & pour soaps and any bath or body items that smell the best and have lots of suds. I guess it's pretty much all trial & error when you first get started & alot of practice too! This stuff just gets me so excited and with your videos and knowledge, I will be diving in to this hobby soon! I've been binge watching your videos - you are so talented!!

I just love your channel! I needed something creative to do now on my maternity leave and your channel has been a true blessing! ❤ even my husband knows now what poly 80 is and researched an “awake night” what co-surfactants are ;) + he is great when I need to calculate something from oz to dl. Lots and lots of love from Sweden!

Thank you so much for all that you share with us. I very much enjoy your videos! I tried this recipe a number of ways this week and haven't had success. I used 2 tbsp powder, 4ml water, and 4 ml cocamidopropyl betaine (both measured w/medical syringes), and each time it was very liquidy. I essentially needed to double the proportion of dry powder to obtain a consistency that wasn't a loose soup. Thinking perhaps it was something w/my colored powder, I tried both straight baking soda and straight corn starch but both attempts still resulted in a liquid...and days later it is still moosh. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you!!

Do you use BS or Corn starch for ur color powder? I use BS base and my rocks weren't nearly as nice as ours. They kinda disingrated instead of staying " rock like"

Bonjour est-ce qu'on peut les faire à partir de la fécule de maïs et ajouter de la couleur (en poudre ou en gel) dans l'eau + le surfactant + le poly 80 ?
@stephanielandrum3857 Жыл бұрын
This is my first attempt to make rainbow rocks mine didn’t form a dense patty more like a gelatinous blob lol going to try again less surfactant maybe? Using Castile soap for surfactant n hybrid Krazy color dye
@denisehaley92712 жыл бұрын
How bad did it stain your hand at 4:20, I see there was an edit glitch when you pulled your hand out. You've gotta use poly 80 in that powder mix at a usage rate depending on amount of mica you're using in your powdered rocks. Also, make sure your micas are FDA APPROVED for bath bombs. NOT all micas or colorants are

Not expensive at all. Its made up of corn starch, water, a bit of surfactant, & a touch of dye. I used 1 tsp dye to color 1 cup of corn starch.

@@CreativeBathLab In the video I did not see where you use any Cornstarch it started with pigment from the very beginning unless I missed something but I think I watch the whole video through

Are lakes better than mica?
@CreativeBathLab2 жыл бұрын
It depends on what you're looking for. Ones not necessarily better than the other as they are very different. Lakes are pure color with no sparkle, while mica is more sparkle & light color.
