Two years ago my husband built me a farmhouse bed I did the destressing on it. It has a headboard and footboard and it's a high bed. The rails are very wide connecting the headboard and footboard . He bought latches for the side rails .It has a center rail for support and adjustable center legs for supports if you have carpet or hard wood floors.I truly wish I could send a picture the post are 4×4 and wide tongue and groove for the headboard and footboard with wide trim over the top .Their is a store in TN that wanted my husband to build them. Even in our move to TN the bed is the same. Very well built it will last forever. My Christmas decorations along with the bedding and Garland on the headboard is adorable. Sorry but I love my bed he built me. It's nice to know it's not particle broad like most beds. Your bed looks good and fresh .

Nice transformation on the headboard, I like the wood frame detail. Bedding looks super comfortable and I'm sure a quality nights sleep, a bit out of my price range though. Looking forward to the room painted and the rest of the details, the paint samples are pretty.
