I wouldn't call it "something I made" in my shop, but today I replaced my garbage disposal and re-plumbed the waste lines under my sink so that they drain better and don't use "flex" tubing. Saved a bundle, feel like I accomplished something.

Last week, i replaced a POU water heater in my bathroom that has been there since Moses. Replaced the water lines with brand new PEX, and there were no leaks when i was done. :-) This week I reconditioned and lubricated the swamp cooler motor, so now it runs quieter. Only bled twice! To be honest though, i never feel like Im doing enough. But i try to take my 5 minutes!
