Yah, that's just about it. Comparing my old drawings with my new, I found that things changed for the better when I treated my shadows better. Glad you're here Avipsa

Great video my friend! I purchased a Prisma color ebony black pencil and it's great for adding those really dark shadows. It really makes a difference. Same with using an eraser for the highlights! Makes the drawing really POP!

This is the best channel ever I've seen.. Please make more tutorial please 😁😁
I just normally press down as hard as I can for a darker shade. I lightly shade then go deep. Always worked for me since I have never seen a 4b pencil. My Aunt has never even heard of one. So I am still using 2b

Love that. 💙💙 That's what I also did when I only had graphite pencils

Love your info and channel...How long does it take you typically to complete a portrait??
@JasonLegendaryArt3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the drawing but generally 7-8 hours in a span of 7 days

@@JasonLegendaryArt thanx for the quick reply 😅 it's awesome that you make time to reply... Thank you, I'm a beginner artist so sometimes I feel I take too long to complete a drawing... Wish I could sit in a class with a teacher like you 🙏🏾

@@ivanmckenzie5697 and then I take 6 days to reply, lol. But yeah take as much time as you needed, it took me about 12 hours when I first started. No one cares how much time you spend, as long as it looks GOOD.

Thanks for replying, I understand thank you... I asked because to me it feels as if it takes very long to finish something but I like the idea that as long as it looks good it doesn't matter how long it takes
