Well duh the glass won't burn. I would just love to see a review video of someone, perhaps in a cold part of the US, who has used this for at least a year, and what it looks like.

According to the dimensions of my fireplace, says I need approx. 172 lbs. of glass. Doesn't that seem to be alot of glass?!
