pro tip, hunt down the legendary buck, which should be north of strawberry, either carry it or skin it, sell it to a fence, and craft the buck trinket. the trinket will greatly increase your chance of a perfect pelt.

Every Panther that spawns is a 3 star, at least in this location because only Florida Panthers spawn here and only one spawns every 3 in-game days and you can't find Florida Panthers anywhere else in the game, hope this helps :)

Had to try it three times, but it worked. On the first try I died bc I was on the wrong rock and was too slow to shoot. On the second I got the perfect pelt but was attacked by the freaking Lemoyne riders on my way to Saint Denis and died.. On the third try I had to wait a bit until I saw the panther chasing a deer. Tracked it and got it. Thank you.

Another good spot is in Lemoyne on the road towards that abandoned camp/town across from Lagras....there's a giant tree to the right while you ride the road towards that place if you ride slow enough a panther will tend to spawn by that tree

I finish the game kinda not to long ago but when I was in the epilogue to find the panther legit I had zero luck on finding the panther no matter how much I did it just won’t spawn for some reason so i practically had to go back and start from scratch to go and find the panther and do the whole story again.

Make a strong predator bait to ensure it's a 3 star panther. You need a berry (they grow near this place) and fish (you have a river there, just use cheese)

It's easier to just ride into the area and wait til you see the red dot appear then waste him baiting him takes way longer and sometimes it doesn't even show up you can use a deer carcass if you skin it there it works as well but again takes longer If it's not showing its likely cause of a camp nearby and if you ride out of the area and back it will appear

There’s a another location where it spawns as well I had some trouble at this location but went to this other spot and it was instantaneous it’s north of the extremely tiny church which is north of Saint Denis on the banks of the river. If you remember the side mission where the guy photographs different predators it’s near that. There is a video already on the location I mentioned by Tony strongstyle
