Ken's been a hero of mine for 10 years or so - his work really speaks for itself.

Stumbled across Failure by accident back when Comfort came out. Saw Albini did the record so I grabbed it. It was something I would throw on when I wanted something to hear stuff that was a little different. A little while later I saw Magnified at a Peaches store and picked it up not knowing what a profound effect it would have on me. I must have listened to it solely for 18 straight months. By the time Fantastic Planet came out I was already a big fan and would run off to see them anytime they played in Fla. There were a few empty house shows in that mix but things were picking up popularity-wise but then they broke up and with that I kinda lost track of them. Then all these years later they kinda reappeared out of nowhere with all this great new music. It was was like finding them new all over again. Both of the recent records are excellent and their recent Nashville show was just something else. Total stimuli overload. They do what they do very well and deserve tours with packed houses..
