rubber would get “chewed” up quick , don’t thick it would transfer the kinetic energy necessary to swage these pellets.. i’ve used a piece of 1” solid brass rod myself ..👍

All around the world into the airguns community someone shows an slug/pellet DIY solution that results too expensive or impossible to transport. Some Czech guys, Another southafrican and Another Brasilia Apart of the 2-3 American ones. Someone one day should outsource the patent to a Chinese factory to get down the prize. Until then all those projects would only produce expensive toys for the price of a decent airgun.

Great die set would love one but i would used a copper or rawhide mallet that a hammer, over time you would damage the moulds…

Recommend a Brass or Hard rubber hammer. Steel on steel not good.
