I AM A CRAFTY AND HAVE ALREADY MADE A BOARD. I DID MINE ON THE LENGTH OF THE BOARD AND MADE HOLES ONE INCH APART , MEASURING FROM CENTRE OUT. I DRILLED HOLES THE O'D OF MY DOWEL RODS. THAT WAY YOU CAN MAKE DIFFERENT SIZES. LOVE YOUR TUTORIAL THANKS.

That extra inch on the end is where another dowel should go to hold your roll of ribbon so it doesn't fall on the floor or get all twisted up when your making the bow. To put your measurements on your wood you can peel the ruler pieces off the rulers from Dollar Tree and cut it to fit the 8 inches on each end and each side of your plank of wood.

Nope, not a stupid question. Most people probably do put theirs in before starting to make the bow. I just manage to forget consistently to do it. As many wreaths as I have done on this channel, you would think I would have it down, but no. 😆
