This is one of the dishes my father produced in his factory 30 years ago. Although it had a different name back then, grilled chicken wings weren’t commonly eaten anywhere in the world, especially not in this style. Ever since I was a kid, I had this idea of preparing chicken like this, and I finally decided to make a video showing it to you.
This is one of the tastiest ways to prepare chicken thighs. If you want to adjust the size, you can also use the lower part of the chicken wing or even turkey drumsticks. However, the butchering or preparation of this chicken style requires some practice and a bit of strength, as there’s a very sharp bone inside the chicken thigh that must be removed. Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
Fresh chicken thighs
Salt
Black pepper
Paprika
Butter or oil
For the Sauce:
Barbecue sauce
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Honey
Black pepper
Instructions:
Preparing the Chicken:
Start by cutting and cleaning the chicken thighs as shown in the video.
Pull the meat from the lower part of the thigh upward, so the bone is exposed and the meat gathers at the top.
Season the chicken with the spices, then fry until cooked and golden.
Preparing the Sauce:
Pour the sauces into a bowl and add black pepper and honey.
Warm the honey slightly before adding it to the sauce to help it mix more easily.
Mix all the ingredients well until smooth.
