@@scorpionmarkv2373 he's a cyborg rather than a synthetic There's a difference as a synthetic is more so like a Terminator and a cyborg is more like a cybernetically enhanced human. Think of it like this. Cyborgs are like humans trying to be machines, Synths are machines trying to be humans.

I'm going to have to try this. Sharing and Caring Companions was one of my favorite mods for Fallout 3, plus the idea of mortal followers in FO4 will add a nice touch, I think. The only thing I wish this mod did was give the companions/followers names.

I accidently left that part out, you can use the machine to give them a name. Or if you are on pc you can use the mod "rename anything"

They won't switch back to their default weapon if you put plenty of the modded weapons ammo type in their inventory

One idea (for me) would be to use this mod to recreate Amata Almodovar from Fallout 3 (or recreate Brisa and Amanda) from the mods Brisa Almodovar and Ties that Bind.

Tried this mod, and I also tried to make this work with the DOA Races mod (which was an ordeal and a half) and finally sort of made it work. So, awesome because I get to have 1 or more lovely DOA girl to accompany me on my adventures. But then 1 time I tried to get her to stay in one of my settlements in the meantime by selecting the "disable follower" and "disable commandstate" options, I just saw her start to walk away from my base. Okay, so I thought maybe if I assign her to a defense post she'll stay. That was not the case. Now I have a follower somewhere I my game.

I think mines broken I never actually need caps and some of the voices don’t work and neither do the custom pre made ones. Never seen an update for it either but could be just me. Been using it since mods came out for xbox

Pretty sure that mod requires Fallout 4 script extender, which means it won't end up on xbox. Unfortunately.

I loved this mod. The only reason I stopped using it was due to it crashing whenever you try to change the face of the companions.

Cant create ghouls and super mutant. Both invisible. I can only see the weapon. I can talk to them but after a while they dont answer anymore.

So I’ve found a problem with this mod; you cannot talk to the companions, meaning you cannot stop them from being your currently selected companion. Ex. I want to send mine to one of my settlements but I cannot

Yeah I found that out as well. Kind of a bummer cause otherwise its great. I was going to try and use it to kit out one of my settlements as a Brotherhood outcasts from 3 but they really don’t work properly as settlers…. Too bad…

A few issues I found Followers will continue to follow you even if you dismissed them. They will stay in the same spot in a settlement if you leave them there? It won’t always give the option to have them with weapons out. A bit annoying not sure if there’s any fixes for those issues?

I've been having this issue with this mod for awhile, doesn't matter if I put my companion on essential or non essential they'll just go down and won't actually die, this ruins the immersion for me, and I really like this mod. Does anyone have any fixes to this? Yes I've tried uninstalling the mod and reinstalling. As well as cleared my data banks on my xbox storage. I've even ran this mod by itself to see if another was conflicting with it .

Too bad you can't use it to make faction bodygaurds. Would be cool if you were doing an institute playthrough to have a crew of synths follow you around. I guess for other factions you could just dress them up as minutemen or BOS. But I didn't notice any dialogue that sounded faction specific so your BOS bodygaurds would say all the BOS lines.

I see one issue with this mod. You are able to have them wear or use any weapon or piece of armor. (Seemingly) So basically you can buy any weapon or armor in the game, without having to do anything, even if you are lower level. Even if it's supposed to be a unique. Correct me if some of my info is mistaken Dak, but that seems a bit OP. Just use a cap dup glitch and you'll be fully armed and armored at level 5.

true but if you are using this mod then you are already playing in a modded state. If you want to cheat you could just install cheat mods lol. This isn't exactly a lorefriendly or immersive mod, so i see it as more for fun anyways. If someone wants to go through that much trouble to cheat, let em

Does this still work in 2022? and if so, is it compatible with other mods like "We Are The Minutemen"? Am on PC btw Edit: Its a shit mod. You cant make the companion do shit aside from follow you. Even if you give it an “aggressive” stance for ranged or melee, it doesnt attack on its own but just follow you around in combat. The mod had potential but now its just a waste of space. Dont recommend you download it.
