I know this won't be for everybody, but some of you really wanted it, so here we go! You can use a rolling pin/dowel for every step I did with the pasta maker. It just takes a little bit more time and patience, but it is FUN, so more time isn't bad!

Covid lockdowns made it very respectable to be working from home. Crafting is a very 'busy' hobby. I have a friend who would say, 'That's not untidy. It's just busy'. All I see is the beautiful fabric and fibre - gorgeous.

How did I not know about polymer clay? What fun. As for my progress on projects today, we had nearly 5 feet of snow which meant quite a bit of shoveling instead of knitting and spinning.

Thank you. Please show us how you diz off a blending board. The ONE time I tried dizzing (is that how it is spelled?) I was not convinced that it was useful, yet many people suggest it. I love your "so much stuff" and that it is organized enough to find. My grandchildren love to say "I want to...." and I go to the closet(s) and pull the right box and we do it. My husband is also very understanding ;-)
@FiberLoveDiary

I'm not all that convinced it's useful either, except if I am creating roving from something else (like a batt, either on a board or not) and I want it to hold it together better. My craft stash has been endless hours of fun for every kid in the family. There is a tub of markers marked "everybody" in there that have been used for every visit forever!

Loving the look of your kitchen table... especially the braids. I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of it, but of course, polymer clay is perfect for a diz. For my profession I am a polymer clay artist. :) The brands you showed sculpy III and premo are non toxic. So it wont hurt if you accidently swallow it. But you do get it back the way it went in. Yuck! (my kiddo ate a big project I was working on when I went to the bathroom. We had to look up the MSDS for it.) It's not food safe because it's porous and it wont be cleaned enough to be safe. The brand they sell at Walmart is junk and really brittle even after baking. Premo I think is the best brand. Depending on your store it's between $2.50-$3.50 for the little bricks. worth it in the long run :)
@FiberLoveDiary
@FiberLoveDiary 3 жыл бұрын
Interesting! Back when I first tried it, late 80s or early 90s, it was all toxic as far as I know. I didn't know there was some non toxic now. That's great.
