Question: Why go to all this trouble and expense instead of using the actual FMS box on the panel in the virtual cockpit? I use whatever instrument view zooms in on the FMS and push the buttons on it, and that works fine. What benefit does paying for software to use on a separate device, and thus adding overhead to your main system, give you over the virtual cockpit?

Faster, more convenient, less mouse clicking, greater immersion.. but always depends on how deep you want to go in your sim experience

@@OverkillSimulations Seems to me the same number of inputs, whether you touch the tablet screen or click the mouse. I can't see how it's any faster as both require looking at a display other than the main panel before making the inputs. And as for immersion, my personal taste is to use the virtual cockpit because it IS the cockpit and not just a display on my end.

@@OverkillSimulations OK, I can see (or maybe feel) that. Finger directly touching the actual input instead of indirectly through the mouse. But OTOH, the mouse button moves under your finger like the real key on the real FMS while a touchscreen doesn't. So _chacun à son goût_ I guess. You're happy with doing it this way, I'm happy with doing it my way, and neither of us see a reason to change. It's good the game supports us both :)

DCS is a lot harder because there isn't anyway to pop out the screens. Everything is Lua

@@OverkillSimulations What version of Android Tablet are you using. I have a small iPad that will only Upgrade to IOS 9.3.5 and thus when I try to install the app it fails.

If you using an Ipad, It needs at least IOS 13.0

That sucks and I found that out when trying to install from the Apple app store. I have an older iPad that doesn't support ios 13 and I'm certainly not buying a new one simply to support this app. I also tried loading onto a Fire 7 tablet, but it isn't available via the Amazon app store and I tried side loading the android version on the Fire table and it fails to launch. I'm thinking the MCDU / FCU functionality on my Android phone is worth a look, however. Glad they have a demo version to see how that works.
