Hey man im having trouble with the bits im using gimp everytime i export my file i have it at 32 bits but after i export it i open the image back in gimp to make sure it says 32 bits but its going back to 8 bits ik this has to be my problem just trying to add an exhaust to my bike i already have my plastics and rims covered just trying to get a damn exhaust on my bike 🤣🙄

I use gimp, and for some reason on these new bikes when I disable the credits layer. One it's not on top so it disables everything above it, and then 2, it's all flat and the suspension is boxes are gone so I only see the plastics.

Im trying to do a rider skin and i followed the instructions and everything looks right but in game it shows as a piboso gray gear

Make sure you do your normal map right, save the main kit as 24 bit and the normal as 32 make sure you do that

is there a way to save as a targa file on gimp other then just typing .tga at the end on the file name?

I have never used gimp but I know a lot of people do and you don’t save you have to click EXPORT them put .tga after it.. or it may even give you a option In the drop down to export it as one

when clicking save as, format, tga, how do you get the tga option, it doesnt come up for me, all i get is PSD, PSB, PDF, TIF

click 'save as copy' instead of 'save as'.

I lost all my layers on gimp. U have nah idea how to get them back? I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. I open the the file as layered but it never gives me any layers. And Ik it’s not the mods because it worked fine until idk what happened to be honest but they won’t come back😂

You always wana save your work to a PSD or what ever gimp uses, once you save as a tga it compress it, if you actually wana go back in and rework with all the layers you have to save as PSD, I always do that right before I save the tga when I’m done. LOL that sucks tho but you’ll know for next time

People LOCK them so you can't unpack them, if your trying to build off another kit
