Make your own ID Wallet - Part One

This is amazing! I made one similar to this with my sister one time. She requested it! It was very difficult, and I thought, "I will never make another one!" Well, it has been years, and she is still using it. It looks faded, dirty, and is wore out. I'd like to make her another one this year. This is exactly what the other one was like. She wanted the id pocket with a zippered pouch this same size. Thank you for posting. This tutorial is so clear and makes me confident I can do it! I'm excited to try.

Excellent video! Not sure why other tutorials make it so complicated... By the way the the way I think the same method could be used for a crossbody bag the window pocket could be used for a cell phone.. not sure if you have tried that

I tried to get the pattern for this on your website & it took me to Etsy, I don’t mind paying for it, it just doesn’t look like the same wallet it’s called Kristine?

juanitaavila19 The wallet that I made on this video is a version of the original pattern called the Kristine ID wallet. You will need the pattern on Etsy for the basic measurements. There is a exterior flap and card slots that the pattern offers. I don’t make that part in my video.

Sew Much Moore In Store I am totally confused by the actual pattern. I am new to sewing and thought I could do your version. So I paid $9 for a pattern that is beyond my skills. I have no idea how to edit in order to leave off the flap and card slots. 😞

omit steps 4 & 5. Instead, just make a back piece that is the same size as the front. I believe it is 5.5" x 4"

hair95nails the finished window will fit a US state ID (and most other forms of ID). Hope that helps! 💝
