Oh Crap!!!! That hiss from madam while she was in the lay block sounded INCREDIBLE!!! I couldn’t hear what kenan was saying cause of her hissy fit lololol.... I can’t wait to see if she has eggs.... Jerry (I hope I’ve spelt that right) u really don’t hang around do u! I wish more ppl would work this quickly to improve there animals environment... Not many would go to the lengths that both u n Kenan have... Most would leave them as they r if it’s big/safe enough for them n if they don’t need to spend the money time or effort on something so big and/or luxurious because they don’t and/or won’t need it... I saw someone do the complete opposite yesterday n it broke my heart... My neighbour moved out n I found his cat screaming on the balcony about 2 hours after he left... I messaged him n the reply I got really wasn’t nice... I spoke to the RSPCA n told them what had happened but explained that I would take the lil one in if they was ok wit that... They sent someone over to collect her (they also saw that the cat I have lives in luxury n I was using some of his food n bits to feed her cause she was starving n to warm her up.. I also gave them the stuff I was using for her so she had them) n take her to the vets were she spent last night... Someone also came to chat to me about what was found by the vet n has agreed to me keeping her so She’s now known as Megs... They r also pressing charges as we found out that lil Megs has health issues n should of been put on medication (I knew something wasn’t right wen I’d seen her playing wit my cat “Spud” but wasn’t 100% n wen I’d chatted wit owner he had said he asked the vet while she was having her booster n they had said she was fine n perfectly healthy) but no vets had Megs on record so she wasn’t seen by anyone... That meant she wasn’t spayed had no injections etc... They also found some fractures (possible abuse) n needs an op to remove part of her tail... I’m completely shocked n dumbfounded by it all but above all of that I’m grateful I have gained another furry member to the family lol... xxx

If it they ingest alot then yes it can cause impaction but a little her and there should be fine they do eat off the ground in the wild.

I’ve seen the white throat rock monitor once in a wild area within the eastern cape of South Africa. It is rare compared to the Nile monitor which is everywhere even urban areas.

I grow fussy organic greens for my sonoran desert tortoise. Jerry keeps chickens so that his monitors get fresh eggs. Reptile people, sheesh! 😂😂😂

All depends what’s in the potting soil. Chemical fertilizers and certain decomposing soils can be toxic if eaten.there could also be a poisonous plant to your reptile that is decomposing.
