That yellow iridescent is gorgeous!!! What a great idea for those leaves, the shape is so lovely. Add a bit black paint to gold and a bit green see what you get, I love it.

Your patience never fails to amaze me 😀, especially the doming part. I wish I had half your patience. Did you dry those leaves, Steve? Those leaves have lots of potential apart from being lovely jewellery😀. Christmas tree ornaments was my first thought, used in a resin tray and coasters set was my second thought 😀 . I've not tried Arteza paints or micas. Do you know if they are cruelty free and vegan friendly? I use a lot of just4youonline products as they are. Resin8 is also cruelty free and vegan friendly, although I haven't tried their glitters and only a few of their micas. You don't have to be a vegan to try them 😅. Have you seen any hedgehogs in your garden?

oh wow! Steve thats such a brilliant idea. I have dried leaves - not a great deal, and I chucked most, thinking I couldn't really do a nothing with them - how wrong was I?! I will ask Dean to collect some when he next goes out with the hounds - absolutely love it. The artesian? p[aints sound great also, so, will be zipping over to amazon, as soon as I finish this comment :-) I absolutely love your channel, and what you create, and becoming a member was the best decision too...a lot of bangs for your bucks! thank you young man x I always learn from what you do

Happy to say I've joined your clan tonight. (the link doesn't appear on my ipad youtube app, so I've waited till I came to work to do it) I'm not big on live streams, but really just wanted to support you in my little way. Love this project! Have you happened to see the bowl made out of skeleton leaves that Julie Cutts made on pouring your heart out? I want to try something along those lines.

Perhaps drying the leaves in a flower press would flatten them for ease in painting them. They turned out great!

Gorrrrgeousss! I didn't get one important detail: do you resin both sides at the same time? How do you dry the other side? Doesn't it get stuck to the sheet? Also, do you dry it for 24 hours or less?

Would it be easier to flatten them before you paint them?
@Microplancakes3 жыл бұрын
That’s exactly my question! I already have flattened leaves so I’ll give it a try! I can only imagine it’s easier to paint on flat than on curves.
