Make your own self-watering planter from a 1.5L plastic bottle

Upcycling can be fun, easy and requires NO special tools:
No drills required, no string, no special fertiliser, no utility knives...
You can get your kids involved, in creating their very own windowsill gardens! This is SO cheap, easy and truly is the best way to germinate seeds I know of (the self-watering thing really helps - I promise, from experience with 100's of these!).
You just need:
- Good scissors
- Notice Board Pin
- Compost + Potting mix
- 1 x seed
- 2 paper towels, napkins or 7 pieces of attached toilet paper
- water
Everything else is not NECESSARY but is "nice": Ruler, marking pen, environmentally-friendly disinfectant, label, sticker).
