Make your own stamp pad ink with ...lube? Yes. Lube.

This video shows you how to make your own DIY stamp pad and ink using basic ingredients available from a supermarket, or most likely already in your own home
Materials used:
Water based lubricant (make sure the main ingredient is glycerine)
Watercolour or gouache paint (use the type from a tube, not a pan)
Water
Palette knife
Plastic, glass or ceramic palette for mixing
Tin or plastic tray to hold ink sponges
Cellulose kitchen sponge cloth
Scissors
Paper used for testing:
Zerkall 120gsm laid printmaking paper
Hahnemuhle 300gsm etching paper

I haven’t tried it. My instinct tells me that watercolours would be better/less likely to dry out, but you don’t know until you try!

@@SpinesAndSplines You're right :) Also, acrylic is just liquid plastic so it would dry out eventually.

And you can re-wet watercolor pigments(paint).
