I make all of my own journals. Quick tip, don’t try to measure your thread, leave it attached and trim when done. Then you can adjust as you go and not waste thread, plus you don’t have to try to hold the tail! I use waxed linen to bind mine.

First time I made one, I used my sewing machine to stitch the pages. WORKED! thank you for your time. Looks great!
