I wonder how similar it is to the Piper Crocatum. I've had my eye on that one for a while, but I haven't dared because I keep reading that it's difficult and some rather contradictory care instructions! Your Calathea comment gives me hope since Calatheas tend to do well in my house, though. 😄

Do you think care is similar to a Piper Crocatum? I’m having so much trouble because it’s growing so so slow! I took some cuttings that have taken months to root in water so I guess it’s the same there 😣 I will definitely try moss!!! Thanks for the tip

I have such a vast collection of philodendrons. However I bought a piper Spyder aura varigated last winter. Omgness I’m ready to throw this plant away… I regret ever buying it. I have a few plants I regret buying and this is definitely one. Mine is yellow/white and green. Not that silver vining one. It’s stunning.. but it’s such a fussy plant.. it went from being so big and beautiful to now just blah… i have the water figured out but it’s just to fussy for me. Luckily I only paid around 30$ for mine.. unlike my more expensive plants
